@lymle1 Shaw is a traitor, he killed Chuck's Dad and was a whiny ass and a coward. Bryce on the other hand tried his best to do the right thing, protect Chuck, giving up his love for Sarah when he saw she loves Chuck, and putting his own life up for exchange to save Chuck's family. He died doing his job, protecting the intersect. And as for Matt, he's more than OK, after meeting him this year, I only have great things to say, not to mention his show White Collar is brilliant.

@lymle1 As for Shaw, he targeted Sarah for killing his wife when she didn't even know that she was innocent and was only told this was her training, it's not like she purposely went after his wife. His wife was killed by orders from higher up, not because of Sarah, if Shaw should blame anyone, blame the higher-ups, not Sarah, Casey, and Chuck who have been nothing but kind and nice to him. Shaw is a wishy washy turncoat. I was not shocked to see his true colors revealed.
@lymle1 White Collar is a great show, Matt is simply brilliant in it. And as for Bryce, I'm still holding out hope that Bryce can make a return appearance, whether being alive again or in flashback, for the finale Chuck season. It's too bad that White Collar and Chuck's filming schedule always prevents Matt from able to come back to Chuck.
@lymle1 Back in the days, Bryce was hated, I remember the chilling silence at Comic Con years ago when Bryce's name was mentioned. But ever since Matt Bomer's lead role on White Collar, he's gotten so much fans coming to his side that nowadays Bryce is actually pretty high up on the list of characters that fans want to see come back for Chuck's final season.
@lymle1 I don't really care if you think he's cool or not, my issue was you stated you didn't like him without a reason so I was only giving out my reasons on why Matt Bomer is just as a great guy as anyone else.
@norwayairsoft I love Bryce, he died fighting the good fight and was even willing to use himself as a hostage to save the Bartowskis at the wedding. Yeah he didn't always make the right choice or was Chuck's best friend, but when it mattered, Bryce came through and was loyal til his death, which is more than I could say for a lot of other characters that have passed through the show and were traitors and enemies.
@BetaArtemis I know, I know. I just now started season 2 though, so I didn't know he died yet. But really, it's common courtesy to put up a warning when you have spoilers like that (because whether it's new or not, it's still spoilers) out in the open.

@MrPaulorico Have you watched the show? This is them on a mission, Chuck had to be a waiter to get close to the target while Bryce and Sarah went in as a married couple to steal something. It's in Season 2. This is not a flashback as obviously indicated with the fact that Casey is talking to Chuck.

I think Chuck and Sarah's dance had the advantage that we could actually see the whole dance and the camera was really focused on them whereas Sarah and Bryce's dance and Chuck's headshots flashed back and forth so the dance wasn't the main focus.

I have to disagree with all of you. Bryce/Matt is too generic. Hes so boring and plastic looking. Asthetically, he is very characterless and seems like he would be more suited as a father figure in a cartoon lol.
Also, he may be a good guy for protecting Chuck and all that...but he's still a bit of a douche bag in my opinion lol :)

And they're everywhere, tv, magazines, movies, catalogues, shop windows. Boring. I may be in the minority who think that, but I would class your opinion as unimportant too, so no matters.
Clearly you don't know Matt Bomer, he is nothing like a jerk. He is sweet and very considerate, I don't where you get jerk from. I met him when he was filming White Collar in NY and he was a complete gentleman and was down to earth and very humble, if anything, he is the complete opposite of a stereotypical charming guy who's a jerk.
And as for Bryce, he took the high road in the end and walked away when Sarah asked. That's better than most stereotypical guys will ever do.
I was meaning looks-wise. And within the show, I thought that was clear. I didn't mean he was a jerk in real life. I'm sure he is very nice. I just mean that he has certain qualities which would be comparable with those types of guys in those sort of teen shows/movies.
As for Bryce, regardless of him turning out to be a good guy in the end, there are just qualities I dislike in him.
So what you're saying is that Bryce has the looks of a classically beautiful, football star/model heartthrob who's also a douche b/c of everything life's handed to him and you don't find that attractive. Maybe you prefer Chuck's looks? Like, dorky/cute but you know he has a good heart?
That's fine. But there's no denying how strikingly gorgeous Bryce is, even if it's not your preference.
I understand your view, but I just don't like the generalization that just because someone looks classically handsome like some football jock that they have to be jerks. I've always hated that kind of generalization about people because I know that's not true.
And even on Chuck that's not really true either. I mean, Bryce and Captain Awesome are cut from the same cloth. Handsome, athletic, and girls love them, but Awesome is incredibly genuine and sweet unlike your view of Bryce.
I'm not generalising. I'm not saying he's a jerk because of his looks. I'm saying that he has that type of classical good looks. Which I find less attractive than the likes of Chuck.
The reason I don't like him is for other things, such as kissing Sarah in the earlier episodes, when we know Chuck likes her. Or the way he seems to think he knows best for Chuck. He has the best of intentions, which makes him admirable, but doesn't mean I need to like him.
He's great in the show. And his character is good, but what makes him interesting to me is feeling a bit negatively towards him even though he is undoubtably one of the good guys. Sort of like Shaw. He's one of the good-guys, but there's just something there that tells you not to like him.
Well, I guess I've always been the one to side with characters who walk the line and isn't just a bad or good guy and Bryce was much more intriguing to be than any other character.
As for Shaw....well, I can't even began to describe my hatred of him. He's a character that is like Bryce a catalyst that moves the storyline forward, but I'm still wondering how he suddenly has a new romantic interest in Sarah, at least Bryce and Sarah had a history. Shaw is just annoying me to death.
I guess I'm just not that trustworthy with Shaw. With Bryce, sure he could be unpredictable, but you knew he was on Sarah's side and Chuck's side. If there was trouble, Bryce would stand by them. WIth Shaw, I just don't trust his intentions the way I do with Bryce. With Bryce there is a history of trust between him and the three lead characters. With Shaw, there isn't and it makes me weary of accepting him as a good guy.

Yeah he didn't always make the right choice or was Chuck's best friend, but when it mattered, Bryce came through and was loyal til his death, which is more than I could say for a lot of other characters that have passed through the show and were traitors and enemies.

@MrPaulorico Have you watched the show? This is them on a mission, Chuck had to be a waiter to get close to the target while Bryce and Sarah went in as a married couple to steal something. It's in Season 2. This is not a flashback as obviously indicated with the fact that Casey is talking to Chuck.

The woman in the red dress is the lovely Agent Sarah Walker and the handsome Agent Bryce Larkin. He's amazing in every way. Chuck Bartowski is the waiter and he is shocked to see Bryce and Sarah dance so close together and then to kiss because he wants to be with Sarah. And Bryce is so much better than Chuck with being a spy, he's smoother, a charmer, he's daring, he's everything a girl could want. And Sarah chose Chuck instead. What a shame. But that answers your question.

Well season three just ended but we are gonna have a season 4! :) Chuck is the waiter guy and the girl in the red dress is his handler(an agent for the gov.(bodyguard)). The guy she is dancing with is her x bf. Chuck really likes Sarah and Sarah likes him too so that is why Chuck is so upset... You should definitely watch this show, it is great!:)

I think Chuck and Sarah's dance had the advantage that we could actually see the whole dance and the camera was really focused on them whereas Sarah and Bryce's dance and Chuck's headshots flashed back and forth so the dance wasn't the main focus.

I have to disagree with all of you. Bryce/Matt is too generic. Hes so boring and plastic looking. Asthetically, he is very characterless and seems like he would be more suited as a father figure in a cartoon lol.
Also, he may be a good guy for protecting Chuck and all that...but he's still a bit of a douche bag in my opinion lol :)

Matt Bomer is a very beautiful man who has the most captivating eyes and is very sweet and charming, there is nothing boring or plastic looking about him, nor is he characterless.
As for Bryce the character, he is more flawed than douche, but that's a rather subjective view.

Well I don't see it. He is too, stereotypical. He reminds me of the guys in teen shows/movies. He's the boy all the girl like. with long hair and plays on the football team, whos name is Chad or Tad or something, but turns out to be a jerk, but all the ladies still like him regardless. And they're everywhere, tv, magazines, movies, catalogues, shop windows. Boring. I may be in the minority who think that, but I would class your opinion as unimportant too, so no matters.

Clearly you don't know Matt Bomer, he is nothing like a jerk. He is sweet and very considerate, I don't where you get jerk from. I met him when he was filming White Collar in NY and he was a complete gentleman and was down to earth and very humble, if anything, he is the complete opposite of a stereotypical charming guy who's a jerk.
And as for Bryce, he took the high road in the end and walked away when Sarah asked. That's better than most stereotypical guys will ever do.

I was meaning looks-wise. And within the show, I thought that was clear. I didn't mean he was a jerk in real life. I'm sure he is very nice. I just mean that he has certain qualities which would be comparable with those types of guys in those sort of teen shows/movies.
As for Bryce, regardless of him turning out to be a good guy in the end, there are just qualities I dislike in him.

I understand your view, but I just don't like the generalization that just because someone looks classically handsome like some football jock that they have to be jerks. I've always hated that kind of generalization about people because I know that's not true.
And even on Chuck that's not really true either. I mean, Bryce and Captain Awesome are cut from the same cloth. Handsome, athletic, and girls love them, but Awesome is incredibly genuine and sweet unlike your view of Bryce.

I'm not generalising. I'm not saying he's a jerk because of his looks. I'm saying that he has that type of classical good looks. Which I find less attractive than the likes of Chuck.
The reason I don't like him is for other things, such as kissing Sarah in the earlier episodes, when we know Chuck likes her. Or the way he seems to think he knows best for Chuck. He has the best of intentions, which makes him admirable, but doesn't mean I need to like him.

He's great in the show. And his character is good, but what makes him interesting to me is feeling a bit negatively towards him even though he is undoubtably one of the good guys. Sort of like Shaw. He's one of the good-guys, but there's just something there that tells you not to like him.

Well, I guess I've always been the one to side with characters who walk the line and isn't just a bad or good guy and Bryce was much more intriguing to be than any other character.
As for Shaw....well, I can't even began to describe my hatred of him. He's a character that is like Bryce a catalyst that moves the storyline forward, but I'm still wondering how he suddenly has a new romantic interest in Sarah, at least Bryce and Sarah had a history. Shaw is just annoying me to death.

I guess I'm just not that trustworthy with Shaw. With Bryce, sure he could be unpredictable, but you knew he was on Sarah's side and Chuck's side. If there was trouble, Bryce would stand by them. WIth Shaw, I just don't trust his intentions the way I do with Bryce. With Bryce there is a history of trust between him and the three lead characters. With Shaw, there isn't and it makes me weary of accepting him as a good guy.
