You can just tell from watching Nick Clegg and other Liberal Democrats that they are just better, nicer and more caring people. When you watch conservative party members or labour members, they just come across as the kind of people who spout endless bullshit from their mouths. Nick Clegg seems to genuinely care about people and what they want. No LibDem was involved in the expenses scandal a few months back. Even Labour members stabbed their leader in the back when they called him a bully.

I very supportive of the European Union, I see it as a huge step towards world unity but I beleive the Brits should have a referendum on something so huge.

The current structure of the EU is very undemocratic, so it needs to change before I'd support it. I'm all for internationalism, but we will regret giving our sovereignty to unaccountable puppets of global capital power.

I'm a Lib Dem member and it was absolutely wrong to take the position on Europe the party did. If we really are LIBERAL and really are DEMOCRATIC, then we would be comfortable enough with people having a say on LISBON and the EU as a whole.

To just make it on the EU is a slight of hand trick. There is a lot of dislike for the EU, but nobody would consider walking away and never trading or negotiating with any EU country ever again.

Saw Clegg on Newnight and still think his position is pathetic. I agree with his view for having the referendum on another question but that is besides the point. The question will beasked today and he will not answer - so called leadership absolute rubbish - I hope other Liberal Democrat MPs will realise that they must vote for what they promised their electorate at the last election. Answer the question today! Parliament answered that question yesterday and it said no. If you believe in a no vote on the Lisbon Treaty vote no - don't sit on the fence - i really have no faith in British politics today - i'm leaning towards the conservatives - i wouldn't of dreamed of doing that two years ago

I'm 26 and will vote for the first time and it will be for the Lib Dems, I hate labour and what it has done, 7 billion on the war all for lies and oil, 1 million people killed and an estimated 300 thousand children. Another thing is the fact that we are almost at an Orwellian state where War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery and Ignorance Is Strength. I have had enough of those Animals in Labour.
