The whole gameplay mechanics (less the sword attack) are copied from Gun Valkyrie. But yes, Gun Valkyrie was a big disappointment.

If this game's as good as this video as well as 9th Night's previous aweosome game, BloodOver, then they've officially become my favourite doujin company.

Yeah, I'll get to replacing this video with an S-clear one, if I get the time.
Was the big boss thing even attacking? It's far too easy if you can just hitstun it into oblivion.
