all of nh now gets to see the real carol shea porter. I don't know of many in this area who like her politics. the head needs to be cut off at the top not at the bottom
And the funniest thing about this is how many people on the Tea Party's side that don't realize they're being taken for suckers by the GOP establishment, which has already fully co-opted the movement. It's transformed from an at least substantively grassroots anger and discontentment (though uninformed) into RNC/Koch brothers/FreedomWorks astroturfing. The trick is letting candidates like Angle and O'Donnell say what they want to an extent, but after they're elected, it's business as usual.
Shea-Porter initially was a co-sponsor on the "audit the Fed bill" then rescinded that and voted against it at the behest of Nancy Pelosi. I'm voting 3rd party except I will vote for Guinta. Shea-Porter has no backbone and is a complete fraud.
I'm not saying Democrats are always right, but they're certainly the best we've got. It's like choosing between a blind horse and a Ford Model T. The Ford will get you where you need to go eventually, but it'll take a while, and it might break down. The horse will turn around and take you in the wrong direction, then when it hears the roar of oil, will buck you off and continue on it's own. Vote Republican if you like, but don't come crying when they ruin this country...again.
@joshfieldstbone And while a BMW, or even a Honda might be nice, we don't have the option, realistically. (Hell even a horse that COULD see would be nice about now on that side of the aisle).
@joshfieldstbone If the national conversation were not entirely dominated by center-right pragmatism vs. far-right lunacy, perhaps more people would be inclined to vore for more left-wing positions. As it stands now, however, anybody who even begins to advocate for truly transformative sea-change from within our system is marginalized and forced to have their positions watered down to fit what the oligarchical party dogma declares as "mainstream".
Misleading by those devoid of morals and ideas. True fascists that have sold their soul to their corporate overlords. The only choice is the Democrats, and we have to keep whacking them on the head to get their attention and moving in the progressive direction. Thank God for Carol, NH has NEVER had better representation.
You'll be judged by the quality of your enemies. If I wasn't before I'd be for Carol and Nancy just seeing who is against them. They are too afraid to say they don't like Blacks or women with power. Like hyenas in the bushes they howl through the night. I say, Better a bleeding heart than none at all.
I will be voting a straight Democratic ticket in NH next month. You couldn't get me to vote Republican at gun point. Conservatives are the enemy of the American people. A far greater danger than any foreign enemy ever has been or ever will be. If you think our economy is bad now, voting conservative will destroy it.
Just another attack ad that shows right-wingers are out of ideas of their own and can only make disingenuous media assaults against their competition.
