Can I build real floors on a split level on it, I wanna try to recreate old georgian houses of Dublin, that often have split level floors with rooms in it. I am gonna try that cheat...we'll see if it works (-:

I’ve been trying to use this technique to build stairs for a walk out basement. When I get to the point where I need to level the floor using the outside foundation pieces I can’t see the top of the foundation piece to use to start the leveling of the ‘dummy level’ unless I go up a floor above it which makes it try to level the third floor rather than the ‘dummy level’.

Any idea what I might do to fix this?

i know an easier way if you have sims 2 university you have an extra foundation and it can go in side the house all you do is 1 x 1 foundation down where ever in your house then you floor at up stairs so you can use connecting stairs then you put that down then on the other side of the foundation put the other stairs and tadaa

uhm, wot do you mean regular? there's sims 2 PC and expansions, or sims 2 Playstation, Sims 2 DS ect. Cos this is the Sims 2 PC :)

use the stage, its just like foundation except u can connect walls to it without worping. i tested it out myself it works. no cheats needed. the stage can be found in the foundation section, the last one on the list. all u need to do is connect stairs and ur done.

Or you could just get a normal floor and create a split level foundation and creat stairs going from the foundation to the normal floor ^^

actually, you don't need the letters on caps for the boolprop constrainfloorelevation cheat. i never use caps and it works just the same :]

Where do you take out the cheat? I know sometimes that will mess you up in the end?

sorry you take the cheat out when you are done (when you are done the roof leveling and taking out the colum...)
