"You get 2 levels of difficulty... I'm actually playing the most punishing one right now". Not really. You unlock the next 2 levels of difficulty after you beat the game, but Im sure youve figured that out by now.

The first ninja gaiden I played was the supposedly easy ninja gaiden sigma...and it raped me good and proper. I gave up after a few hours and decided to give it another go a few months ago. Ive got a hell of a lot better and trust me, its one of the best games Ive played. The difficulty makes defeating a tough boss(fuck you Alma) that much sweeter.

I own the game and i can safely say, that from all the time i spent working to get those Nifty Combo's down, this game took that, and ate it, spat it out, Set it on fire, took a wizz on it, And then ate it again. (Excuse the strange Immage) The games Difficulty is HARD. Unless you can get used to doing Izuna Drop REALLY often, Then Humans will maul you, And the other monsters are just plain unfair, im at the end of the game now and just BARELY made it to the end boss because of having no items..

Showing your face not only shifts the focus of the video to you, can make you self-conscious but also shows less gameplay or game footage.

I played the demo but all the reviews use the sword... personally I liked the claws and talons as a weapon. Do you get those later in the game? If so I might buy it.
well yea it kinda is, but it gets kinda fast when ur using the right combos, and it is a really fast way to take out many enemys at the same time, but thats just my opinion and the swords are really fun as well

PS3 is getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on PS3, with removed bugs, enhanced visuals, less cheap difficulty, online co-op, 2 other characters to play as, and a new weapon
I think the sigma version should come as a update to the 360 owners that already have the game.
One thing the PS3 owners can't deny is that they haven't even played this game yet, us 360 owners would kick their asses in a vs match if there ever was one. We are the seasoned vets, PS3 owners are the newbs.

Finally some one who doesn't complain about the difficulty of the game. Most ppl who talk about this game go its sooo hard or the camera is so bad. They never go maybe i just suck, they just blame the game. Though i have to disagree with the hole timing thing i pretty much button mashed my way through with out dieing much at all. These kind of games are my bread and butter i fail at fps and rpg type games but when it comes to combos and button mashers i win.
Amen to you liger, I tried playing online rpgs and such, but they just don't cut it the way a good ol' sword to the ribs and neck and etc combo game has. Likewise, after a while of playing, i mashed my way through it too.
...that is, until i foght the archfiend. *laughs scornfully* if only you saw the feeling of achievement in my eyes when i killed the undead looking fucker...only to realize that he wasnt the actual last boss.
The only real gripe that I had with this game were just minor visual blemishes and the camera angles can be a bitch to work around. But once you get the hang of working the camera while dishing out combos, it's definitely a great game to own if you have a 360. Agree with this review one hundred percent.

If thirty guys attack any ninja, I'm sure he wouldn't have time to sneak around and be stealthy--he's going to defend himself. Ryu is the best, you suck :-)
"Ninja Gaiden 2 plays fun" The game is so repetitive, there really isn't much to do. The game has kind of gone to the realm of Dynasty Warriors where you just hack and slash through enemies and use musou to clear out an area. The enemies are not challenging, neither are the bosses all they do is grab you and beat you down until you only have 1/8 health. Nothing really new with the combat system and as you stated "The camera can be a lil' dicky..."
so in your opinion plz tell me a game that isnt repetitive in some way cause im drawing blanks and ask for hard i dare you to beat the first boss in ninja gaiden without blocking n u will definitly die garunteed and its 10x as fast paced as dynasty warriors with regular enemys that can kick your ass not just bosses so please dont disrespect a game just dont comment period for anything about it
I'll put it on a scale of repetition, 1 being least repetitive and 10 being the most repetitive. Ninja Gaiden 2 hits a 9 on the 1 to 10 scale reason being that all you do IS hack and slash, Mission mode sold separately. Ninja Gaiden:Black gets a 5 because the game actually had puzzles to solve and the mission mode was included with the purchase of the game.

I played the demo but all the reviews use the sword... personally I liked the claws and talons as a weapon. Do you get those later in the game? If so I might buy it.

well yea it kinda is, but it gets kinda fast when ur using the right combos, and it is a really fast way to take out many enemys at the same time, but thats just my opinion and the swords are really fun as well

I think the sigma version should come as a update to the 360 owners that already have the game.
One thing the PS3 owners can't deny is that they haven't even played this game yet, us 360 owners would kick their asses in a vs match if there ever was one. We are the seasoned vets, PS3 owners are the newbs.

As always - Plus you get to play as two other characters.
It's a good money maker for Tecmo I guess. - Once the XBOX versions slow down in sales - They pop right back up with the PS3 version.

There might be More than 2 playable caracters, the Director Josuke Hayashi said that he announced 2 caracters So Far´... So there is a change to see more playable caracters..
Sigma 2 will have 17 chapters and 70 cutscenes, Improved graphics with the Optimised Sigma Engine ^^... DAMN I cant wait to throw this game in my Ps3 system!!! ^^...

Finally some one who doesn't complain about the difficulty of the game. Most ppl who talk about this game go its sooo hard or the camera is so bad. They never go maybe i just suck, they just blame the game. Though i have to disagree with the hole timing thing i pretty much button mashed my way through with out dieing much at all. These kind of games are my bread and butter i fail at fps and rpg type games but when it comes to combos and button mashers i win.

Amen to you liger, I tried playing online rpgs and such, but they just don't cut it the way a good ol' sword to the ribs and neck and etc combo game has. Likewise, after a while of playing, i mashed my way through it too.
...that is, until i foght the archfiend. *laughs scornfully* if only you saw the feeling of achievement in my eyes when i killed the undead looking fucker...only to realize that he wasnt the actual last boss.

The only real gripe that I had with this game were just minor visual blemishes and the camera angles can be a bitch to work around. But once you get the hang of working the camera while dishing out combos, it's definitely a great game to own if you have a 360. Agree with this review one hundred percent.

All depends. Were you on Path of the Acolyte, or Path of the Warrior? No matter, try Path of the Mentor when you unlock it. I'll tell you now, you'll have Black Spider Ninjas throw Incendiary Shurikens in all crevasses of your ass when you first start the game. Good luck, my friend.

But i must say , they added a `easy` difficulty to this chapter of ninja gaiden . I finished this game in about 3 days . But i allso finished ninja gaiden 1 on xbox1 some time before it , allthough this part took me about 3 mounth to finish o.o
But still yet how frustrating ninjagaiden1 somtimes whas , i slightly prefair it over 2 , but both in me top fav games .

love ninja gaiden, played it on ps2, but god of war smashed every other game in it's kind, when i played god of war the first time i whas having trouble keeping my mouth closed, i looked like i saw a ghost, if a game can do that to you it's a great game, the puzzle's whur fun to play and the story line whas not cheesy, also the karakters and graphics whur awsome, so i expect nothing less when i gonna play ninja gaiden 2

You don't know a "Ninja game" till you try Tenchu. Ninja Gaiden is worth 2/10 on the "Ninja" scale. In comparison to a Tenchu being 9001/10.
Ninja Gaiden is different to GoW hugely but it is not quite "ninja". It is no Tenchu 4.

A real ninja assesses the situation and then carries out the best plan of action. Ryu isn't assassinating anyone, so there's no reason to be stealthy. If thirty guys attack any ninja, I'm sure he wouldn't have time to sneak around and be stealthy--he's going to defend himself. Ryu is the best, you suck :-)

"Ninja Gaiden 2 plays fun" The game is so repetitive, there really isn't much to do. The game has kind of gone to the realm of Dynasty Warriors where you just hack and slash through enemies and use musou to clear out an area. The enemies are not challenging, neither are the bosses all they do is grab you and beat you down until you only have 1/8 health. Nothing really new with the combat system and as you stated "The camera can be a lil' dicky..."

I'll put it on a scale of repetition, 1 being least repetitive and 10 being the most repetitive. Ninja Gaiden 2 hits a 9 on the 1 to 10 scale reason being that all you do IS hack and slash, Mission mode sold separately. Ninja Gaiden:Black gets a 5 because the game actually had puzzles to solve and the mission mode was included with the purchase of the game.
