ffs noone gave a shit before he was dead, he was just any other bum beating nobodys, now everyones chatting this crap like he was te next big thing, he had the potencail just needed a good defense trainer. RIP v
@EaszAz he spared eric morales, urbano antillon and he kiked their asses and he even knocked out antillon in a sparring session . he was fighting nobodys becaus there was somthing wrong with his boxing licence in the u.s
wow i cant believe it he was going to be big he had so much talent maybe the next pound for pound but he took the easy way out i guess he wasnt meant to be sorry for his family
FUCK man I wish all this shit never happened!!! WHY couldnt Valero stay around to fight Marquez,Mosley, Pacman. I guess its true what they say everything happens for a reason.
I wouldnt like to see cotto like it happened to one of these guys! cotto is a great guy and has a family but i also know hes been thru some tough challenges. and that Margarito fight did take alot from him. god be by his side hopefully.
I definitely feel for his two children more than anything. That little boy and girl have to grow up without parents now, and their lives have been drastically changed whether they know it yet or not. This reminds me of that case of the WWE wrestler Benoit who killed his family and then took his own life. Although I don't think there were any survivors in that case. At least Edwin didn't kill the kids, too. Even though they might have pretty messed up lives now.
There are also those who express grief for his family, but don't even address Edwin himself. In my opinion, I think he not only had serious substance abuse and anger problems, but he also had extreme psychological issues that may have been the #1 catalyst in this terrible tragedy. I know he was in a car accident years ago that resulted in some degree of brain damage, but I don't know whether or not that had any effect on his mind or if he was just born with that condition.
The passing of Edwin Valero brought sadness to Hugo "Bitch" Chaves. Edwin is now with the likes of Saddam & Hitler and Hugo will eventually follow. Lol!
@pierrearias - I caught that too. Glad to see someone made the correction and pointed it out on here. The truth had to be revealed. 18 KO's in the 1st round, Elie, not 19. He held the record for a while, but some guy recently surpassed him with I believe 19 KO's. Anyway, this is a tragedy. There seems to be a dichotomy between those who feel sorrow for him and say "may he rest in peace," and those who want him to be burning in hell for eternity. The reality is that nobody knows the answer.
@ANTPHRESSH89 : Hey those are two of my favorites too! Wow! Didn't get the chance to see Valero fight. I just started watching some Youtube footage of him and I liked what I saw. I'm am sadden by his death. I hate it when young people die. Man we lost our two favorites in Corrales and Arguello and we lost your favorite, Valero. I am so hurt everytime someone dies so young.
apparently, he just followed the track of the undisciplined fighters who ended up messing themselves up. we can't blame them though. there is so much money in this sport and practically anything might be offered to people who have money. sorry for the lose but everybody hopes this won't happen again.
good video. i was actually hoping you made this. i am in shock like everyone else. I was eagerly awaiting a valero-pacquiao showdown. valero himself seemed interesting too, and i was just rooting for the guy. before people judge him, people should know how powerful mental illness can be. thats what being sick means - you cant make good choices. i am sure his life goals were to have a good family, bring honor to venezuela from his boxing. what he did caused the opposite. why? cause he was sick.
Good to see Jesse Reed still around. I remember him from HBA gym. The sorrow should be for the wife, not for the murderer.
