I don't care what games you LP as long as you like playing them. There's no way to do an interesting LP of a game you have no interest in, but if you really enjoy it, then the commentary moments of brilliance will just happen spontaneously.
I'm not sure if this is something you noticed than instantly discredited but the reason for the level difference might not be what Meganium and Feraligatr have to gain but that originally they had all three starters evolved to their final forms but that the Typhlosion would have access to lava plume (seeing as Quilava learns it at level 35) which they than decided might be too much for players at that point so they changed his code but left the others as they were originally.
and seriously i really hate people who think COD is "hardcore" and that other games like zelda are not. I've been a fan of COD since the first one because I like history and was into WW2 at the time, but ever since COD4 came out, these kinds of people emerged and ruined it for old fans of the series as well as make people think all COD fans are like that. The purpose of Nintendo releasing such games is to give us a different approach in Pokemon gameplay, instead of always following the same linear approach in the Main Games. In the end, the Main Series of Pokemon games outclasses the Side Series of Mystery Dungeon Pokemon games.

If his team was more diverse in terms of common weaknesses, and/or his order was randomized instead of set, THEN his Zoroark would be more of a challenge. Why would they not do gen 6 on the 3DS, and why would I not prefer it? Not sure why you're asking this. The games would look and sound much better, to an extent where RSE remakes might actually become somewhat justified at that point.
I'm not sure on the specifics, but as far as the main series go I think they can't make the leap to the 3DS until gen 6. Spin-offs on the 3DS are entirely possible though, we already got Rumble 2 on there.
There's a WiiWare Mystery Dungeon, but it doesn't really count since it's so unlike the first two games.. It's a lot like Super Paper Mario, a spin-off of a spin-off.
Either way, better not get too hyped up. Every time they say "we got an announcement coming soon", we always end up being cruelly disappointed.
Like I said on FMT, I used Zoroark in-game. It wasn't what you'd call the best Pokemon to use, but it made the Caitlin fight a frickin' cakewalk. Reuniclus kept using Psychic! What a moron!
There are two reasons I avoid Torchic like the plague in Emerald. The first is the Tate & Liza fight, and the second is that damn Torkoal. That thing is nearly impossible to beat after one Badge unless you have a Wingull.
But if you don't have enough team members by the time you get to Mossdeep, it's your own problem. Late gyms like that shouldn't influence your starter choice too much.
In my defense, Mossdeep is a double battle with four Pokemon on their side. And double battles are pretty much the bane of my Pokemon existence. That and Watchog, but the latter only applies to Black and White.
Seriously, though, I required a Skarmory AND a Trace Gardevoir just to combat Claydol's Earthquake. Not exactly fresh linen if you get what I'm saying. Though I'm pretty sure I used a Weezing on that team. I dunno, I was influenced by Chuggaa going boom with Methane in Crystal.
To be fair, I'm in the UK and we had to wait 15 years for games like Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG, so it's a change that you have to wait a while for videogames and videogame stuff as well. Who cares if North America have to wait a week or two for just a C-Gear skin.
It can't possibly be the deluxe version, it's far too early for that. So definitely a spin-off, though what it is is anyone's guess. MD3? Ranger 4? A storage utility like Box and Ranch? Something new entirely? No idea.
To be fair though, Masuda's the director of Gamefreak, and Gamefreak doesn't make spinoffs. Thus, the theory that holds the most water right now is that Keldeo's going to be revealed next week.
In all honesty, Zoroark is a lot more cooler than Lucario, but it doesn't quite match up when it comes to battling. I think Zoroark should've been more popular.
