Great questions, and you're right. It was done with AdeptDesktop. We can get you a copy, but you won't be able to do much with it without a robot or controller to hook up to...

as you see the Robot cannot move so fast continuesly, it needs to do some waving motion to `relax´ the motors for the 3rd axis. Otherwise the motor would get too hot (it's not a powerSCARA!). normally these SCARA robots could run with up to 3g. BTW: it uses harmonic drive gears and EC-motors. Don't use Steppers!

Majority of the moves are short and in the Z axis cylinder. Try moving more of the robot at the same time....very slow compared to ABB FlexPicker

yeah, but this is fast for a robot, not a human. an example: the world's fastest running robot Asimo runs at 6 km/h, and the world's fastest human runs almost 30 km/h.
