I own this headset and have found that the build is NOT very sturdy. I have had mine roughly 18 months and they have broke 5 times (twice on both sides above the ear pieces on both sides and now the mic does not register any more) and I was able to keep them working by gorilla gluing them together 4 times, but the last break (the mic) was the killer. The sound is great and worked fine on my Xbox, 360, and ps3 and sounded fine, but the fragility of the headset was my only complaint.

Good headset when paired with my turtle beach dss on the ps3. I put the ax720's & tb px21's (that broke on left ear cup) onto the back burner. Grabbed a pair of the ax180's on eBay for $36 w/ shipping. Good sound and ----BOMB PROOF---.

@TheFatSandwhich Mine dose that to, I think its the cord going from the Headset to the controller. Now I can't talk at all, I guess if that happens you just have to buy a new cord. Just take it to radioshack and they should have it for a decent price.

@HSVFaN99 You can hear enemy foot steps quite well, but i'm not sure you could locate exactly where they are. It is only stereo sound remember, not surround sound.

@Supercheeseball88 Plug your ps3 regularly via HDMI, Set up the headset like normal. When your in settings you go to sound settings and choose the sound to output through the regular AV cables (Which the headset is plugged in to) Therefore you can play in HDMI and use the headset as well.

@TheMightyApostle this is normal with USB headsets, it usually disappears in game, if it doesn't, make sure you have the SVM off (push down the voice volume rocker switch)

@mr1jokerfull My turtlebeach PX21 broke twice in 4 months, sadly. First time the headset broke when I took it off, the second time the audio only came from the right. I just ordered the Tritton Detonator so I hope the quality is better. Nevertheless the Turtle Beache PX21 is awesome a lot of my friends have the PX21 and they are very happy. Computer doesn't even pick up the damn mic making it useless on pc and the headset itself it extremely uncomfortable. The sound quality at best is tolerable terrible headset especially considering the price lucky I can bring it back and get it replaced with a better Turtle Beach headset. Even if I have wire problems with those headsets they are well made and sound amazing input and output.
