Eastenders and Corrie seems soo dull. Here in Sweden "Emmerdale" is a quite popular lunch-time show, don´t even think Eastenders/Corrie is shown. Emmerdale is not always great, but those special episodes like Alices euthanasia pact, Zoe blowing up Home farm, Chris Tate killing himself and framing Charity, are so good! Long live Emmerdale (even if they could get rid of a few Dingles..)

Has anyone ever noticed on Emmerdale that all the latest cars are parked about the village when people are walking outside, like they're brand spanking new out of a showroom. And at the start a shiney new car will be driving through the village with the camera fully on it. Its like Emmerdale has some kind of contract with car manufacturers to advertise their latest models . . . you take note next time you watch and see if you notice it too.

I am sorry but the show is like a pantomime now, so much over-acting going on. It used to be under-stated and that was its beauty. Now its over the top, garish, and just awful. Like Dynasty in the Dales!

I preferred it when it was called Emmerdale Farm and the Sugdens were the centrepiece of the show. Having said that, the Kim Tate era was also pretty good. The show is total crap now.
