hey Scott great vid,did you hear something when you were putting out the corn?seen you took a pause and looked 'round.iits an erie felling to me when you out like that and sounds like hogs coming in...an "aaww crap" moment.lol, good deal with the deer, where there r does theyll be bucks in the rut!!!!again great vid
Actually I did think I heard something. I spend more time looking at shadows and hearing ghost game than anyone I know. I havnt been back to that stand other than too bait since Sat. Gonna let those doe settle down, and bring in the bucks.
Thanks for the comment! and good luck to you BHC boys!
Cool vid Scott!!! I thought that last deer was a white and tan hog coming around that tree!!! had me going there for a bit!!! I have hog fever as well!!! Probably cause I don't have a very good deer spot this year. Didn't get one last year either!!! Thanks for the vid!!!
It was alot of fun. I really had no idea I was gonna see that many deer in that area after less than a week of keeping corn out. I was hoping for a hog, but they must still be coming in late. Need to get a camera over there and see whats going on.
Not a problem. Love to go and even when I dont have meat on the ground I can usually find something interesting to film. Going again this weekend. Ive got hog fever now that I have a little venison in the freezer. Thanks for the rating and the addition to the playlist!
Actually yes, only during bow season. I think there is one week during firearms your allowed to kill doe too. I took a doe this last weekend. Gonna try your seasoning with it soon! We got rained out opening weekend and didnt camp as planned.
man, i wish the deer were that active in the morning here. i havn't seen one in the morning yet, but they always move in the afternoon. great vid, hope to see another one soon!
After that rain a week ago, they seem to be moving alot. We even seen a bachelor group of bucks right at noon last week. They were a looooong way out but it was good to see em.
Mornin Scott! Man, it's pretty there! Everything is so green! Must've got plenty of rain! The deer look in really good shape and looks like you got plenty of em! When does the rut start and what's the temperature right now??
Hey Robert! Right now in Florida is what we call the rainy season. Opening weekend we got a freak storm that dropped 7" of rain in about 4 hours. We have a ton of deer! I never dreamed they would be right there though! Our rut ("chase phase") will start in a couple 2 or 3 weeks. High temps are in the low 90's Lows mid 70's. Should start cooling off soon. It is beatiful country here in Forida. You just have to get away from the concrete jungle to see it.
nice vid, think i covered every inch of myakka with my buddys back in the late 70's.
