Myspace was more creative, but they fucked up the design. It was your page and only yours, so you could upload music you made and customized it, and upload your own videos. On facebook, your page is basically just Mark Zuckerbergs who keeps on changing it. It's also too hectic and the privacy is bad. I'd go for myspace the way it used to be.

at 24..I was there for everyone of these social networking sites as they gained notoriety and thus..I find myspace to be a lot more fun and productive. I use it for both personal and to post original music and it seems to me, I have a much easier time getting people to come to shows and meeting me afterwards (or before), overall myspace users seem much more enthusiastic.
