Their lyrics have always had the dark edge, but AFI never have been, and never will be emo. If you don't like the new music, that's fair enough, but I'm sick of people saying that "teeny boppers" are ruining the band and making them turn emo.

1-Ive know the band in 06 w/the song&vid of MissMurder. I bought STS 1st and really loved it, and they became 1 of my fav bands, I love them so fuc**ng much!! The AFI that I love the +, love really really more than the other and makes me live big emotions is the new 1. But even if it's another thing, that I don't like as much and doesn't make me feel the big emotions like the new 1, I also love the old 1 and bought the albums.
