I would probably buy it as a rigid single speed initially. It would cost less, and I can give single speeding a try. I love how customizable this machine is. I should earn some money (almost 18 and I don't have a job).
This looks like the best 29er hardtail available. Multiple BB insert options, including BB30 and Niner's EBB. Frame w/ Niner fork under 5lbs! Run it with Niner's rigid fork w/ tapered steer tube, or Rockshox Reba w/ tapered steer tube(80mm-100mm). Not just a xc race bike, can also do enduro(very rough trail riding). Single speed or geared.
I wish I had this bike and a Specialized s-works enduro, or an Ibis Mojo SL(both 2010 models)... :) FUCK YEAH!!!

holly... what a bike.
despite I´m only 5 6" (1.67m) and that prefer Ti over carbon; I wish I could own on of these beauties
