Aw, those were the days! Waking up to baskets full of candy, going to church in a new dress and shoes and white gloves, dinner at my grandmother's house with ham and greens cooked with pork. I miss those times and my relatives who have all gone on to Heaven.

We used to spend Easter weekend at my great-grandparents' home in Indiana. They hid small foil-wrapped chocolate eggs all around their house for my cousins and me to find. They had a 12" tall gold statue of the Praying Hands sculpture and I could always count on one egg being nestled down in the hollow between the two hands. This was in the late 60's and early 70's.
