Nice, nice playing. Your tone really taps into the delta age. I've spent years trying to get this song down and I'm still a ways away from being satisfied with it. Your version has given me some new insights.
Heh, I wish I knew! Music theory isn't really my bag. Mostly I play the tune using d7 shapes on the bottom 3 strings (gbe) or dshapes on dgb strings... that help any?
Thanks for stoppin' by and checkin' out my blues! This is another one of my favorite tunes. Rory Block did a version of this called "Kind Hearted Man Blues" which was one of the first blues tunes I learned.
Still a long way to go for me before I can play anywnere it like you can! I consider it a huge compliment that you would teach a tune using me a reference material.
Hey, yeah, Shane!!! Sounds cool!!! You've chosen a hard one and do a beautiful version of it. Gotta learn that one, too! Working on this one was definitely no waste of time.
Thanks Antonio! I had started trying to learn Malted Milk before this one and had to put it on the shelf cause I wasn't getting the feel of it. This one came along a little easier for me.
Hey I really liked that!! Was the guitar hard to play it just like Johnson did?

Hey, sounds great! Good job on a tough song. But I am racking my brain trying to figure out your 1 and 4 chord positions.

Great rendition! Your really starting to control that right hand, and that my friend is what it's all about.
Another one for my favourites!!
BTW, one of the guys I teach is learning your version of Man of Constant Sorrow.
