i visited this spring and met a hippie who has been visiting it daily for years. the guppies are his, and somebody stole the virgin mary he had placed there. the spring was never used by a ginger ale bottling plant, but got the name by the way it looks as though it is fizzy.
he mentioned old timer floridians used to bathe in it, thinking it was a fountain of youth. hard to believe, since it smells bad!

I went to this spring about 10 years ago and it was very small. I can't believe how big it has gotten.

Go to google earth and type in ginger ale springs. I typed little wekiva river first
It gives you directions and gps coordinates.
