It's definitely rigged. I recorded myself playing the game with the camera on the highest frame rate it would do - I saw that I hit the button when the pointer was on 3, but it moved onto the -4 before stopping. (I don't have the video any more, sorry)

I've got severe anger issues with one of these machines. I was at the arcade in Frontier Town in OC, Maryland, and there was a PSP hanging inside. Needless to say, I came out $30 in the hole and no PSP.

Yes, these games are all rigged. However, every now and than, when enough people have tried, it will let you win. The venue programmes the machine as to how many tries are needed before a win can happen. That depends on the value of the prices.

it is rigged, i started on one once and i got 3 plus then 1 then -

then i tried 3 more times and on the last turn it is always minus unless you are to close to the top

I wasted 15 dollars on this thing. $20 in tokens were in there. Very rigged. Only one prize was won (probably to draw you in) Whenever I get to level 5, I always get a negative, most frustratingly the -4. +5 is instant win, which probably never happens. It takes one or two plays and level 5 is achieved, but then comes the negative.
