@TogrutaJedi It actually was going to be a cigarette until the animators just switched it to a toothpick. DARN IT DAVE!!! Why? WHY?!

That makes a lot of sense now. Why did I never realize that? They wanted to make it more appropriate, I guess, so episodes with Bane wouldn't have to add "D" (for "Drugs") to TCW's "PG V" rating and then make parents totally freak out.
