Thanks, Mcsqueegy, and very nice lap yourself. Indeed, I've found a lot of improvement since I first played GT4 about 2 years ago. I'm only a good player, and a devoted one, because of GTP and competitions like this one. I've done that Midfield challenge before but never recorded or posted my time, fearing an attack from NielsG. I will have a go at it, though, not that I expect to come anywhere near 1'18s with the aliens.
D'oh. Mental blank, I meant to say rumbles :o. I was probably thinking of bumpers then! I think you could get pretty close with Midfield, too, I know 'hsh' got 1'18.93x. Who knows? It'd be good to see where i'm at as well... :)
Assuming you meant the car's setup to be the one detailed in "Stock M3 on Midfield challenge," after 15 or so laps, I got a 24.866 - 48.763 - 1'19.381, without using the "sidewalks" in the tunnels as track. It had at least two of my best sectors so far, and I think beating it would tax my patience, so I'll leave it at that for now, although I'm sure I could theoretically go faster. If you want to see a video, I could make one, but it would be easier to point you hsh's in the thread's post 59...
