The robots in the Eldran series are stored IN the schools when they're not in use actually, it's kinda awesome like, the school folds up the robots take off!
Sometimes combination/transformation is a free action, but there are examples where the sequence is what only the viewers see. To the outside observers ie, bad guys, the action is near instant. Shows should really state which is going on.
@narutoasakura1 bad guys have sub categories. there are evil bad guys, asshole bad guys, nice bad guys (bad guys who fight with honor like a real warrior), and just plain bad guys (in between bad and assholes).
@ravenstook That never happens in any anime or tokusatsu with robots. Even if the bad guys did fire at them for example, the energy beams, bulletts whatever would miss or have no effect. It's tradition!
@ravenstook I think that only ever happened in Voltes V when Namazukan screwed up the Voltes team's combination sequence with a ray-blaster thingee mounted on his forehead. Nerdy moment there.
Nope. There's at least one episode in every "super" robot show where the enemy tries to take advantage of the combination time, OR launch time. The first I've encountered is from UFO Robo Grandizer.
Other similar scenes are from Brave Express Might Gaine (look for the Combination Denied youtube video by Locomofortress, it's still around), and even Gravion had one. (Then we had Gaogaigar, who had its combination software wiped.<_<)
@ravenstook I'm guessing that the transformation is actually pretty fast and the transformation sequence is there just to show how they transformed, well that's my theory anyway.
wow i remember watching all episodes and i have all the toys available for this anime. i loved this one the most out of all the other mecha animes i watched
Super Dimension Orguss. It's an anime by TMS, it was part of the same trilogy which formed the Robotech series; however for some reason Harmany Gold didn't use Orguss and used a different series; Mospeada. Orguss itself does have a slight transformation.
I think it might be uploaded onto YouTube (under the name Eldran) as far as I know, but I could be wrong. The only videos I've seen of the OVA though had very little sound.
Well Sunrise, NAS and other companies might consider you a theif anyway since you uploaded clips of 'their' shows without 'their' permission anyway. I'm pretty sure you must have aquired these from some sources like fan subbers and such (as I've seen on a few of your other videos) and you didn't give credit to the fan-subbers anyway, so you pretty much have done it all ready.
Exactily, but I'm not working with YouTube or Bandai Namco. I'm just saying that you 'might' be seen as such. I knew somebody who posted a few videos of a Sunrise anime, they got ticked off and ordered YouTube to remove those videos. I'm just saying, I don't know why you're getting upset about using a video uploaded by another user, that's of somebody else's work to begin with, in this case the work of Takara Tomy and Sunrise.
If you feel that strongily about uploading clips without Sunrise's permission, and the permission of the companies behind other transforming mecha, then it's 'your' choice to remove the clips, or keep them as they are. I admit I made a couple of music videos without asking for permission, however like you I made no money from it and it's only so people can be reminded of said cartoon, (that and to help promote the recent DVD releases). Anyway, bottom line it's up to you!

also in gaogaigar, EI-15 and EI-03 both took action durring the combination, and EI-04 tried. zondua kinda did as well.

@ravenstook it probably has a secret device to slow down time. that or there is a barrier around the robos protecting them during the transformation.

Try YouTube Downloader. It's a program that allows you to download and convert videos from YouTube.

That and you have to find the OVA too.

You're missing the point, that would be like stealing, uploading a clip that someone else put up.
