Umm, a little bit of wrong info... We weren't preparing more attacks on Japan... In fact those were the only 2 nukes we had at the time. Before they had more technology it would have taken them months to build another. The US was worried that if they didn't surrender. We had nothing left.

Well ya gotta remember that at this time their country was as bad as Germany, in terms of their nationalist agenda. I mean, look at how they treated US prisoners in WWII and compare it to how they treated Russian prisoners in the Russo-Japanese war 40 years earlier and you'll definitely get the idea.
