TF2 was the best.

But things got really bad at the Scout update. Unlike the first update, (where there was at least one weapon that's good - flaregun), all of the unlocks were REALLY bad and incomparable to the Backburner's fail-ish (in fact, at least now the BB is a bit more balanced) and the Axting's op-ness.

Things got worst at the Spy vs Sniper - the drop system was introduced and also the now-abandoned random leveled items. Then hats, crafting, etc. Hats were a good idea - but now abused
