Areas of the world are running out of potable water due to pollution, privitization, glacier melt, and the effects of climate change such as erratic weather patterns which effect agriculture and rainfall. We as humans have contributed to disrupting the hydrologic cycle.

Overall, I think this video is rather poor.  I could never figure out the message it was trying to convey. If the producers were trying to make one think that we are running out of water, that would make them very ignorant, as you can't get rid of water. Basic physics, you know.

Ya i agree. It is over population that is the cause of all this problem and our medicines and stuff keeps making us live longer. But most people think they don't have to worry about it because in the future we will be living on mars or something like that.... but what if same thing happens on mars or whatever? Obviously moving to another planet and leaving all this problem isn't the answer.

beautiful video. there HAS to be a reasonable solution to water shortage. i mean there's exactly the same amount of water on the planet today as there was a billion years ago, it doesn't leave earth and go into space, it's just hiding somewhere!

i believe that the water is just not clean. only a small part of the water in the whole world is drinkable. we have pure water because we fliter it. but some places do not have them.
