I have the original series in Japanese, and I have to say the English version of the intro is SO much better. As a child, this was one of the series that inspired me to go into art, when I tried to get a copy of this series as an adult I heard the horrible intro that appears in the Chinese and Japanese versions and was shocked that I could have liked it so much. Then I realized that the awesome intro was from the English version and is indeed quite awesome. Rare case of anime dub > original.

I bought the entire Japanese collection that came out in the states two years ago to replace the bootlegs I had bought years and years before that (didn't know what bootlegs were back then) I found out that the Japanese version does NOT have the English version theme music. Sold them all to a guy in Puerto Rico. Just found out the released the English version in the states last November! Bought it!!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS GREAT THEME!!!
