  • Let gays be gay. Let them do as they please. But adoption. No. Let them have their own children naturally. Oh ,that's right. They can't. I believe God knew what he was doing. Just accept it move on and leave the children alone.

  • You know what's really inhumane? That tie. No human should have to wear something that hideous.

  • "they are far more incline to experiment with same-sex behavior which is only natural, it's a terrible terrible terrible thing"

yupp, it would be a shame if some would end up happy before spending years and years in the closet...

  • There is not one single peer reviewed study supporting his opinion.

There are dozens of peer reviewed studies showing gay parents are as good if not better at raising children. Just saying something does not make it true.

Look at the studies and talk to gay families, you will find he is nothing more than a vile bigoted toad of a man, blaspheming the bible.

  • @Blairtim69 i don't need to look at the studies to find that. it's pretty obvious the minute his pie hole opens.

  • Where the hell is Fisher getting his information? Maggie G's ass?

  • I think allowing people like Bryan Fischer to adopt children is inhumane since he clearly places a greater value on some people over others. We cannot ALLOW people like this to raise kids because they are doing irreparable harm in their demonstration of unconditional love.

  • So if there aren't enough homes with a mom and dad, it's better the kids be confined to the foster care system forever? What a fucking idiot.

Religion is a terrible thing to expose the human brain to. Preach fear, ignorance, blatant lies to get what you want.

  • Longterm psychological problems? Promiscuous? Experiment with samesex behavior?

How nice of you to have this idea of me, even though you have never met me and I turned out to be the opposite of the things you mentioned.

This, my friends, is insensitive right wing propaganda.

  • get your american value meal here. ignorance served with a side of lies.

  • i don't know which is worse: being plain stupid, willfully ignorant, or maliciously pathological. who am i kidding this vile creature is the latter.

  • NO, it's heartbreaking how religion scars kids for life. It's is heartbreaking to see the continued abuses perpetrated on kids by the churches, and by heterosexual mommies-and-daddies who neglect, abuse, beat, starve & molest their own kids...

Fischer would rather see kids abused than have a chance at good home.

Gays who adopt prepare for it responsibly. Kids need homes that are stable, loving, guiding - they don't care what sex the parents are!

Damn these idiot christian pathological liars!

  • This is ridiculous!

IT Is proven that children who grow up in gay households grow up to be more accepting and well rounded then those in most (but not all) Straight households.

  • The is evidence kids from gay homes turn out better than kids from straight homes. So shut your fucking slanderous mouth you stupid bitch.

  • Because allowing people like Bryan Fischer and the AFA to rear children will TOTALLY not result in earth-shattering brainfuckage, right?

  • I'm thinking it's the loser "heterosexual" couples that cause children to be in foster care in the first place. Now there's a fact! This guy has NO FACTS! Foster children are products of straight couples who have failed as parents. They are either imprisoned, drug abusers, child molesters, or have neglected their children... To blame gay couples to want to help them is shameful. Furthermore, only foster kids who age out of the system should be the ones who get to decide here.

  • So what exactly is the AFA doing about the 20 million children that are currently being raised in single-parent families? I'm guessing nothing, since that single parent is most likely heterosexual. These hypocritical monsters need to be stopped.

  • Notice that the American Academy of Pediatrics (child doctors) does not support Mr. Fischer's views or the views of the American Family Association on gay parenting. They say the exact opposite actually. Having one mother and one father is not some "MAGIC RECIPE" for a successful child. Children don't depend on their parents gender or sexual orientation to grow and learn; they depend on your responsibility, consistency, maturity, patience, caring, and most importantly your LOVE :)

  • I guess my single mother is an inhumane person.

  • Exucuse you boo, but you have to show me what scientific proof you have on the basis of your argument. What theory, evidence or case study do you have to support your insulting argument? I WON'T BELIEVE A SINGLE THING UNTIL YOU SHOW ME THE RECEIPTS.

  • Yes, Bryan Fischer, it's MUCH better for them to remain in the foster care system until they time out at age 18. How AWFUL it would be for them to have a loving home if there isn't a mom and a dad. What a jerk.

  • @ademska I'm actually scared to see how many people would say they'd rather have their kids in prison than raised by same sex parents.

  • Yes, because what children care about and need for their proper development ultimately is for the beings raising them to have a dick with balls and a vagina with boobs.

  • i wonder how many of you idiots realize that 90% of kids who grow up in foster care remain in state custody as adults --IN PRISON.

but being raised by two dads is way worse than prison, totally

  • @ademska WHAT?

  • This man is disgusting, plain and simple.

  • A terrible thing to do to children is to raise them in an evangelical home where they are forced to talk to the invisible being in the sky and live their lives in fear that they will upset the invisible being and be cast into the pit of fire. Evangelicals selling their fear on the internet.

  • does that include single parent families ?

  • I say letting THESE people adopt is inhumane

  • I'm not a violent person and have never been in a fight in my life, but if I ever see Mr. Fischer on the street, he better watch out.

  • There is no empirical, peer-reviewed evidence that children can ONLY be raised successfully in straight couple households! STFU, Bryan. If you had any druthers, you'd repudiate those ridiculous claims. What "evidence" is there that kids raised by gay couples are "more likely to be promiscuous"? WHAT?! LOL. Because all gays, esp gay men., teach their kids to sleep around? Jesus fucking christ!

No gay who's promiscuous is gonna even ATTEMPT to raise a child and go through all that effort.

  • @whoo689 The only 'evidence' is that kids do better in homes with 2 parents rather than one, in general. Of course, there are plenty of exceptions, such as broken homes or abusive parents. But in general, a child with 2 loving parents will fare better, if not for the sole reason that two parents can be a lot more flexible (e.g. one works while the other is there for the kid full-time). Finances won't be as big a problem. But the notion that they'll be better in straight homes is silly.

  • Maybe there is something to the claim that a child fares best in a home with a father and mother. After all, both genders play crucial roles as parents in raising kids. They can raise "well-rounded" (a word I kind of hate to use because of its association with one-size-fits-all bullshit public school curricula) kid. But, on the flip side, PLENTY of kids can and have been raised pretty well in gay homes. Bryan Fischer should look at real facts from unbiased sources, not his right-wing friends

  • Mr. Fischer, fuck you. Oh, and BTW, I'm greatly relieved that I don't have a narrow-minded, unthinking, bigoted, mendacious, chistofascist sack of shit like you for a father.

    N.

  • well, mr fischer, religion is much more damaging than any of the things that you have mentioned

  • what a jerk!!! i suppose he would have the kids raised in an orphanage. orphanages do as best they can, but a home with loving parents, straight or gay is so much preferable.

  • Where does he get his "facts"? Fox "News"? Seriously! A recent study proved that kids raised by two lesbians statistically turned out better than kids raised by two straight people. I'm not saying that homosexuals are better parents. What I am saying is that we should not deny them the right to adopt, despite the Christian fundamentalist, and conservative Republican, bigotry against them.

  • Hateful fuck spewing lies

  • Fuck Brian Fisher closet gay homphopic piss ant.

What about the single dads and single moms you stupid fundie fuckatrd.

And shove all your prejudice shit up your ass.

  • who the hell are the "we" this bigot talks of? who set this bastard up as lord & master as to who can & can't adopt children?

oh, i see, he's some god damned right wing self appointed bastard who, based on some "christian" funded think tank of factless findings, says children are better off in institutions than in families where there might be two dads or moms.

give me a break. he's just a hate monger pushing falsities & lies, nothing more nothing less. he is an authority on NOTHING!

  • But when gawd first created Adam, that was sorta.. kind-of like gay adoption

  • @MisterDoctorE and look how he turned out

  • That's right! We know gay people are usually pacifists and don't: "whoop thar youngins" on a regular basis, either.. lol..

  • @MrAndocalrisian since Fischer draws his hate of homosexuals from Leviticus I wonder if he also agrees that good christian parents should stone their children to death if they get a "smart" mouth?

  • @kaysandesses

Yep! Sassy mouth gets em' youngin's a stonin'... Blends of cotton: punishable by death... Shellfish consumption.. you know the deal..

  • @MrAndocalrisian Leviticus is some of the juciest reading that can be had.

My favorite oxymoron aisle in Barnes & Noble: Religious Fiction.

  • LOL!

It's no longer anger that I feel when assholes like this spew their utter bullshit. It's becoming hilarious to see how these bigots are losing their minds!

  • @WellConditioned " It's becoming hilarious to see how these bigots are losing their minds!"

Is it possible to believe that homosexuality is morally wrong without being a bigot?

  • @HeReformedMe No.

  • @HeReformedMe There are societies that believe in polygamy, can they believe that monogamy is morally wrong without you thinking they are being bigots?

  • @OtherGonzo "can they believe that monogamy is morally wrong without you thinking they are being bigots?"

I think everyone should be convinced in their own mind if an action is morally wrong. All these issues in my opinion are up for debate. But let us debate with reason. If one is to invoke morality in their argument however, one must also be prepared to justify the source of the moral standard being appealed to.

I don't hate gays, I simply disagree with their lifestyle.

  • @HeReformedMe Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming you are against Gay marriage and adoption.

That is where you cross the line from "I think it's wrong" to "we need to outlaw it"

Though I doubt you'll understand why that difference matters.

  • @HeReformedMe "What prevents others from marrying a goat or a dog?"

I hope you realize that is one of the weakest arguments out there. Animals cannot enter into legal contracts, so therefore cannot marry.

In my opinion the answer is to get government out of the Marriage business altogether, civil unions for everyone.

  • @HeReformedMe Do you think that animals have the capabilities to communicate love like people do? To compare a gay man or woman to a dog or a goat is EXTREMELY disrespectful.

THAT is where your logic fails.

  • @HeReformedMe There's a reason "slippery slope" is considered a logical fallacy, asshole.

  • @HeReformedMe 1) You don't have to compromise your faith because the marriage rights of minority shouldn't be up for a popular vote in the first place. Moreover, civil marriage is a secular institution. So religious ideals have no place in defining what it is or isn't.

    2) Marriage is for humans only, unless you know of another species that can sign legally binding contracts.

  • @incredulosity Oh man. I gotta use that one next time someone brings on the bestiality marriage bullshit.

  • @OtherGonzo What is it that defines a marriage for you?

  • @OtherGonzo I'm sorry my friend but you make it sound as if people can't disagree without bigotry being involved. Thats just not true.

  • So what explains Bryan Fischer?

  • As the Prop 8 trial clearly proved, ALL of the studies of children raised by gay and/or lesbian parents have shown the same thing -- those children are as well-adjusted, happy and productive as children raised by heterosexual parents. The ONLY difference is that they tend to be more accepting of others. The American Family Association and their ilk continue to make fraudulent claims that have already been soundly refuted. If they ever had any credibility, they have lost it.

  • "Long term psychological problems." What does he think about all the serial killers who had mothers and fathers who raised them, or Rapists? This man is all about fear. He knows nothing.

  • Depriving them of either a father OR a mother? So what the hell are gays then, some nebulous gender?

  • What's his opinion on divorce when the family has kids that are then split up? What do he think of single parents?

No doubt his answers would be a little different!

  • Where is this guy getting his "facts" from exactly?
