Both, but you can only use your wings to fly up,down,left,right in cities and in the abyss.

How this game is greater than WoW:

1) Better graphics/animations.

2)Better combat system

3) The UI is FANTASTIC!You Health/Mana/Daeva Power are all Close together and next to your action bar which you are always glancing at.

4)The quest system is amazing. How they incorporate you into the quest via cut scenes and other dialogue.

5) The customization is almost infinite, You can make your toon totally unique! It's unbelievable!

With all that being said. I play WoW and I was in the Aion CBT. :)

yeah but sadly, blizzard is more popular then ncsoft. wow gets ads, commercials n all of that so they get a few extra players off it, and whoever plays wow as their first mmo gets involved in an idealistic notion that wow is the first mmo and everything else is a copy of it and they refuse to play any others. that's pretty much how they keep their players ;P but aion is much, much better the wow game-wise, like ya explained. ;] (aion obt coming up next week too ;P)

nah not really, most of the MMORPG players will eventually get bored of a game after years playing, knowing nothing news, everybody walking around in the same level. They will be looking for newer MMO to play and explore, so far all the MMO out there doesn't have the concept to beat WOW yet, but Aion surely will. Report said that Aion surpassed the WOW subscriptions in Asia.

To your questions, SM is tough to play if u wanna ask, the Pets has atleast 5 spells that require you to cast on a target to make your pet attack it, otherwise it will not.

Because from what ive heard, you have to tell your pet to do everything as a spirit master, and to do good dps, you need to keep telling it to do stuff.

Eh, i'm picky about mmorpg games and this one is just, bleh.. like the graphics and user interface are pretty well designed its just, the characters make a noise everytime they jump cast or get hit, and on top of that they speak korean which i cant even understand they could be saying "ima super pwnz u dumbshit rock", also i read about the wings and such, a timer? that just made it go to my fail mmorpg list, i personally give it a 4 out of 10. ( haters dont even bother replying )

I'm not hating but you've goten your facts wrong. The timer increases with level and i'm glad the timer is there. makes pvp more fun. And there are different voice actors for the EU and NA release. The game will be Lineage 2 / WoW though. But seing the game industri isnt very kind to people crossing the line. ^^

The Noise you can Choice at the beginning of your Character creation. And i think thats nonsense words and no korean words.

in options you can disable the voice of your character.

And this Timer, it makes flying to something special. wouldn`t it be boring if you can flying all the time? In Higher lvl you can get better Wings, than you flytime is increase.

It`s your Meaning, but when you don`t inform yourself, say better nothing. ;D

I agree with you about that voice thing. Especially the female voices are annoying like hell. But wont they change it for eu/us version? I dont think theyll talk korean in the english version, it just isnt done now I think. Anyway I played this in closed beta and loved the gameplay and the timer + wings doesnt bother me, since even that lowest flying time (one minute) was enough for me when lvling (dunno how itll work in PvP now :D ).

The communtiy is like WoW. A few good and many many bad. Blizzard has monopoly on the mmo market now so... If you are expecting Aion at release to be WoW at this date then your probably gonna be dissapointed.

Question InF3RNaLeS: Is the Spiritmaster worth playing? And if not, please explain why, and compare it to other classes... I'm currently in the US beta events, and did play a bit with the Chinese client. I've been seriously considering this class, but don't want to waste time on it if it's not good. Hello, I've tested this class in Korean Aion and I can tell you from my point of view it's useless to have this class unless you want 100% PvE.

It's really good for killing monsters alone without getting a single point of damage, this would be the bot class due of this.

And well, the problem with PvP is that you can't make your elementals fly, so, if the enemy goes up flying in the abyss or any place, you lose.

So, this class is purely for PvE unless they solve that issue with the pets.

Well. Don't they have that "Reduced time of flight" spell that cuts of 40% of "Total" flight time ? And a lot of CC. They are good in pvp from what i've read at least.

Not really true, if you look closer the Spiritmaster has a bunch of ways to survive without a pet, From snares to Dots, to fears even. All time for the spiritmaster to get far enough away and start nuking

Yes, every spell have a invocation word, always, and when you hit, your character just hits the monsters and do like he was doing effort moving the weapon.

The most popular class is Wizard, every server has a 17-18% of Wizards, less is Spiritmasters and Chanters because they're not good neither PVP or PVE.

Check the private message I sent to you, there's a website where you can see very percentage of each class in each server, it's from official website stat site.

The cap of the beginning is backgrounded black and a blue logo, but this is a lv2 cape, meaning you can choose the background and some logos and the color you want.

At level 3, you can choose to upload a image, bmp 256x256 for your guild's cape. So this is lv2 logo.

They have a taunt skill, and I can send them to attack or run to me, even to remain passive or dissapear to summoner another element one.

I killed some templars in PVP, but damn, they're hard as hell, if you don't link anymore enemies and you're in a large place, it's easy because you can make them run slow.

I'm kinda thinkin that, in PVP, a spiritmaster should have the option of summoning more than one spirit, seeing as we can't fly or defend ourselves. Offense is the only thing we can really do and, like you said, spirits what we depend on

try water pet...he can shoot on range...so...if your opponent fly then stay on the ground and summon water pet...he shoots...you attack...like...what else do you need... :D

Oh, well, if you lose your pet, you must summon it soon, you rely 80% on your pet, we could say that, yes.

You've got low HP and low defense, the pet's the one that tanks, and you don't do lot of damage, it's like 50% of the Sorcerer Damage, that's the disadvantage.
