i think this is when SF was a 32sec duration and 60sec recharge hence why the video was posted on 2008 and seeing that it was an ele and no buff items. e.g easter egg or w.e/etc. it proves my first point

I've tried a bunch of different builds for pools including dc. For the way I do pools, this build is the fastest and is very risk free. If another build works better for your style, go for it. To put in dc, you'd have to take out IAU or rad field. Rad field is the fastest killing method for me at the shrine, and IAU is great not only to prevent an unlucky shock but alto to cancel mountain cripple - which 1 cripple is enough to prevent speed clear records.

... the last guy asked the same question. The video was put up before the Essence of Celerity was nefed to 20% move, cast and recharge. So at the time he didn't need candy corn, eggs or glyph. What you do now, is take out Dark Escape and put in Glyph of Swiftness (if you don't have candy corn or golden eggs) If you do have candy corn and eggs they are better, since you will be able to use the speed boost after SF is cast.
