This comment of ddd1953 is a load of misinformed rubbish. Many Jews WERE German before the 1930s, and Yiddish is in fact largely a German dialect. The German-Jewish dichotomy is thus overdrawn in this comment. All Jews are NOT Israelis, in fact most are not. It is true that the film has biases and mistakes, but that does not mean Germans behaved humanely during the Nazi era. Most Germans in fact now realize this, and that is the main reason why the country has willing paid massive reparations.
