@Nazally 1 kg meat, 12 dried whole red chillies, 1 ts whole black pepper, 12 cloves, 4 black cardamom md, 1-1/2” cinnamon, 1 md onion, 1 large garlic, 2’ ginger, 1-1/2 ts cumin seeds, 2ts salt, 1-1/2 ts coriander powder. 3 min pressure time, one large onion for frying in oil, 4 cups best quality rice, soaked for ½ hr in warm water, yakhni + water in rice cooker total 5-1/4 cups. When water finishes sprinkle shah zeerah on top. ½ ts

@786ayubuk, take any cup you like, if 4 cups rice 5 cups water, 1 cup rice 2 cups water, always one cup of water on top of rice. amount of water depends on rice qualty as well some people soak rice as well. if socked on cup water is fine if not just add 1 1/4 cups.

Thanks for such a great recipe! What about people with no rice cookers? How will they cope?They are not readily available in india and pakistan. As the host was saying that this is a recipe that has been used in her family for generations. There we rice cookers a few years back.

I am bajia mother of the girl who narrates in english :) this is my voice, thanks for the compliment :) i remember the days when cole were placed on the lid, for dam, and the time when mum placed sil's batta on top of the lid, so it seals properly, tawa was placed under the pot while lowering the heat. when the water finishes from the rice. later ovens came and pots were going to the oven, then rice cookers were invented :)

Avoid any kind of too much use of chemicals, nail polish, remover or hardner or any desi tip. Just massage the finger with your thumb where the nail starts from, time to time so blood serrulation of the nail gets better. foocuse on healthy food and have iron pils there are 3 types of iren go for the one that suits yo. in laidies iron is always low, your hair and nails will grow well

i made this but baji cause i was making alot for eid.i didnt make in rice cooker.i made 4 cups of rice and added 8 cups water what i have been told..the yaknee was nicely done and i added salt but when i added to rice it wasnt as tasty..
I think there wasnt enough meat, and too much water in the rice. Always cook the meat with very little water, and then bhoon it, and then add water after the tarka. You put in too much water, make sure you use the best quality rice, i use LAL QILA extra long. That works well for me.

5 cups are OK for 8 people + 1kg meat, its more then anough! you can not ever make good pulao without best quality basmati at all. eid ka khana kharab naheen kerna!

make chicken pulao, or cover meat on md heat for some time till its soft. you need a cooker. get a good one. they all come with safty now. not to worry. buy english well known brand.

Very good and simple. You are the only one so far as I have in the cookery, who uses Rice Cooker to make simple and delicious Pulao..Very much moth watering. But do u really add baking powder?. Secondly you sprayed something at the last on top when u checked the rice and mixed it. can u let me know. You are using the traditional Pounding Stone...good .....one.,, Alhamdulillah.

Nowadays a person who can afford to make chicken pula-o can very well afford rice cooker. I get this chicken between $12-16 and rice cooker I got the little one I use was just for $5 I am not a very smart cook, started cooking with rice cooker and appliances.
There are ladies, cooking rice a thousand time better then me on the cook top or in our villages on firewood using coal at the end. I am not even close. thanks for liking!
Yes, I am talking about the Panasonic Rice cooker . The biggest size they have available holds 23 (uncooked) cups of rice. So, my concern was if it's too big or heavy..but i am not that worried about it now since you answered my questions. Thanks.. but before i order it i would like to make sure it's the same size as yours.. how many cups of (uncooked) rice can your rice cooker make?
If you have visitors and want to make pulao you cant make it in standard sz rice cooker. This is ideal I think its the same sz, I am not sure how many cups was mine. Panasonic make only one large sz rice cooker. i have never used rice cooker cup to masure it. pulao main 6 cup meat ke saath pak jate hain cha-a wale.
I am shopping for rice cooker, and the one you use seems very good. i looked up the model # on amazon and i see that its a 23 cup rice cooker. If its the same one you use can you please give me some feed back about the rice cooker, like is it too heavey/or too big etc..? Thanks :)
Are you talking about Panasonic? Its not heavy, lovely sz for parties, easy to clean. Cookers with lid attach hard to clean and lid break with time. Mine is old one, its not non stick, the non stick ones I have used are useless. With time rice start sticking badly. But in Panasonic they dont. Easy to clean.

Han han kiyoon nahin! Do it as you like. Rice cooker is actually for lazy people like me I have never made rice without rice cooker, have no idea of the amount of water to be added in pot.
Just cook as you always cook your rice using these spices and recipe. My channel is just to give you the basics and the ideas, modify what ever you like accordingly.

Par colour aaple jaise nahi aaya. Mujhe lagta hai ki maine pyaaz kum brown kiya or quantity bhi kum tha. Aapne bataya hua tha pyaaz ka colour imp hai.
Aur maine qty bhi aadha hi banaya tha 2 cups ric and 1/2 kg meat. Kya yeh ratio theek hai? Aur pyaaz meat ke saath aur phir brown karne ke liye kitna lena chahiye.

kuch na lagao, hamsha chote rakho bohot lambe naheen till they are strong. They get strong with age and time. Avoid any kind of too much use of chemicals, nail polish, remover or hardner or any desi tip. Just massage the finger with your thumb where the nail starts from, time to time so blood serrulation of the nail gets better. foocuse on healthy food and have iron pils there are 3 types of iren go for the one that suits yo. in laidies iron is always low, your hair and nails will grow well

i made this but baji cause i was making alot for eid.i didnt make in rice cooker.i made 4 cups of rice and added 8 cups water what i have been told..the yaknee was nicely done and i added salt but when i added to rice it wasnt as tasty..

I think there wasnt enough meat, and too much water in the rice. Always cook the meat with very little water, and then bhoon it, and then add water after the tarka. You put in too much water, make sure you use the best quality rice, i use LAL QILA extra long. That works well for me.

Baji ive made pulao before but it doesnt turn out so good, it always turns out tasteless, i cant taste the salt or any other spices and the rice at the bottom are always dry and all clumped together please help

your rice quality is poor, water in rice is too much. not anough meat
make it as it is in this recipe. without changing any thing. use best quality basmati rice the most expencive avalible

5 cups are OK for 8 people + 1kg meat, its more then anough! you can not ever make good pulao without best quality basmati at all. eid ka khana kharab naheen kerna!

Very good and simple. You are the only one so far as I have in the cookery, who uses Rice Cooker to make simple and delicious Pulao..Very much moth watering. But do u really add baking powder?. Secondly you sprayed something at the last on top when u checked the rice and mixed it. can u let me know. You are using the traditional Pounding Stone...good .....one.,, Alhamdulillah.

1/2 kg meat, 2cups of basmati rice best quality. 1 md onion,1 small onion, ½ garlic ,1 ginger sliced, 1ts full salt, 4-5 dry red chillies, ½ ts whole black paper, 5 cloves, ½ finger sz cinnamon, 2 md black cardamom, ¾ cumin seeds, ¾ ts coriander powder. Nowadays a person who can afford to make chicken pula-o can very well afford rice cooker. I get this chicken between $12-16 and rice cooker I got the little one I use was just for $5 I am not a very smart cook, started cooking with rice cooker and appliances.
There are ladies, cooking rice a thousand time better then me on the cook top or in our villages on firewood using coal at the end. I am not even close. thanks for liking!

Yes, I am talking about the Panasonic Rice cooker . The biggest size they have available holds 23 (uncooked) cups of rice. So, my concern was if it's too big or heavy..but i am not that worried about it now since you answered my questions. Thanks.. but before i order it i would like to make sure it's the same size as yours.. how many cups of (uncooked) rice can your rice cooker make?

If you have visitors and want to make pulao you cant make it in standard sz rice cooker. This is ideal I think its the same sz, I am not sure how many cups was mine. Panasonic make only one large sz rice cooker. i have never used rice cooker cup to masure it. pulao main 6 cup meat ke saath pak jate hain cha-a wale.

Are you talking about Panasonic? Its not heavy, lovely sz for parties, easy to clean. Cookers with lid attach hard to clean and lid break with time. Mine is old one, its not non stick, the non stick ones I have used are useless. With time rice start sticking badly. But in Panasonic they dont. Easy to clean.

Han han kiyoon nahin! Do it as you like. Rice cooker is actually for lazy people like me I have never made rice without rice cooker, have no idea of the amount of water to be added in pot.
Just cook as you always cook your rice using these spices and recipe. My channel is just to give you the basics and the ideas, modify what ever you like accordingly.
