Is this just me, because I cannot stand to lose a character. I recruit every single one that I can, do everythinkg in my power to keep the little person alive through the chapter... even if I never use them on the playthrough.

Watching Saleh die was painful. horribly so. WHY?

I've always preferred Ewan over Saleh because Ewan actually has better stats when he's maxed level. Also Joshua gets better stats as a swordsmaster.

you probably didn't need to heal joshua with saleh. Would have saved yourself a restart. He had enough hp to survive another hit, even if Caellach got lucky with the RNG like he did the first time.

The only good part I can see of making Joshua an Assassin is the fact he gets a lot of criticals meaning more chances for Silencer.

Not really. Swordmasters get a +15 to Crit, so they have a better shot at landing criticals (which are usually OHKO anyway). So unless you REALLY like the Silencer animation, Swordmaster is the way to go for extra criticals.

Valter is really easy if you first steal his fili shield, then kill him with a bow. but Caellach is sorta hard.

Actually, I like him the best out of the secret characters beside lyon. Not bad stats for a pre-promote and I like axe, lol.
