Are you feeding your dogs these muffins or any other food other than dog food? If you are, do not feed them too regularly! They will get used to such foods and reject dog food given to them and are usually aggressive when consuming their food!!

Yummm.....this was a great recipe! I used it to bake a birthday cake for my boy yesterday for his 10th Birthday, and HE LOVED IT, especially the cream cheese icing(so did we)! LOL! Thanks for sharing! The girls were so cute hanging around and getting to taste their treat. The best part was watching their cute little faces when you gave them the muffins.

@sierralukzmaster7 You can try a whole foods store, or maybe your local grocery store. Wal-Mart supercenters I think only carry it during the fall season. I usually buy a few cans when they have it and keep them around:) Oh and if I don't use a full can for a recipe, I freeze the remaining. :)

I too am owned as I call it by a Siberian Husky named Meeshka. These dogs are the best companions because of the high energy level and high intelligence. I love this recipe, but please do not give the dogs the raw batter. The mix contains raw egg ,which like humans, if eaten, the dogs can contrat salmonella. great vid though!!!

@CN3254productions They are hyper, but I don't walk mine 3 times a day. I give them kongs, and other mind stimulating toys, and we do walk them, and play with them. We don't have a huge yard, and only a two bedroom house. It all depends on how much you want to deal with. They are a lot of work, but aren't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I would search Siberian Husky Rescue, or search Pet finder. Maybe you can adopt one!

I haven't tried it yet, but a chef said if you have to measure honey, molasses, or the like, if you spray the cup with cooking spray first, the honey, etc., will slide right out.
