I attended a charity event - 15 Minutes Of Fame in Dundee yesterday. I felt so good after doing it knowing that I am helping someone! I have posted a vlog in my channel asking people to donate, its on my facebook, its everywhere and I hope all of my friends are generous enough to help!
My sister in law is running the London Marathon for Debra...she needs to raise as much money as possible. A lot of our family suffer with EB but only Simplex, its such a horrible disease...please donate as much as possible.
I work in a DebRA shop in east kilbride and knew that the illness of epidermolosis bulosa was bad and i have donated to the charity alot, but after watching this and getting deeper into the illness is letting me know that im working foor a good cause, and not alot of people can say that, but i know that when i finnish my placement in he DebRA shop im going to go in and regularly volunteer and try as hard as i can to help out the store in almost any way.
If you are near Putney High Street SW15 this week, you might want to drop by Starbucks and donate to the charity's through its representative "Connie Johnson" who is in that branch to collect donations in exchange for raffle tickets. May god cure all the sufferers and give power and courage to their parents and families.
I have just made sure that all events that i do, will have debRA Charity involved, In order that Awarness can be raised as well as money to help support this dreadfull illness. Please utube to your face book/Bebo/My space page.
When I was at Nursery, a little boy there (he'd be 20/21 now) had eb... i remebeer he always had to sit on a chair, never on the floor like the rest of us... I moved away but then five years later, I was in my local DebRA charity shop, and I saw a leaflet, and he was sitting on the floor ... ever since then I've always been a big supporter of the charity... he used to tell me how much pain he was in and I never thought it was fair... Great charity to support!!
