well actually, i talked to a worker at the museum, and he talks w/ the 111th (a-10)'s all the time. it is gonna be a main headquarters for the fbi and cia, and there will be FEMA there(emergency response dudes) for the whole north east coast. also, apperently the airforce will be there with a few fighters, but mainly c-130s, kc135 and c-17, c-5, u kno. the cargo planes. well i hope this information makes you feel better the museum guy said, "i am so happy because if they closed it, i would die!"

Base is closing and there is no airshow this year (2007) and most likely never will have another one due to the cost to run it. I live a minute away and talk to the marines and navy all the time.
