I heard that Chris checked himself to the hospital and the doctors who did his evaluation said he was fine and discharged him, not trying to start ugly rumors but if that is the case that psychiatrist dropped the ball. If this is true and he did not get the professional help Chris knew he needed, that doctor should be the one in jail because had he gotten the help, this might not have ever happened.

@MsKrystalnicole You should brush up on your IOWA CODE. Officers only have to read you your Miranda Rights before they question you.. Which means they can arrest you without reading them.. It's only once they have you in custody where you are not free to leave that they have to read them to you before questioning.

This boy, and the man he stabbed, were friends of my daughter's for several years, and it makes me so very sad that it all happened. What a terrible thing for everyone involved, peripherally and directly. Drugs can do stupid things to people, and parents need to be better examples for their kids so the chances of these things happening decreases. I'm just so sad.

Don't know either of the guys but I hope the guy stabbed will be ok. It is clear that the police did exactly what they should have done. All the people saying he's a good guy, nothing being reported paints this person in that light. It's good to support your friend, but stabbing another human being(a supposed friend)19 times in the back is just overkill. If you think your tough enough to take a life, be a man and look him in the eye. Stabbing somebody in the back is the act of a coward.

There is nothing funny about this video. From what I can hear in this video is he's not the one screamming "NOOO!" It's someone in the background. It's sad two young people's lives are changed. One is in the hospital lucky to be alive and one's is going to jail for a long time. I don't think "funny" is the first thing that pops into my head, rather.... "sad" and "why?" Yes that is the blood from the victim on the suspects house. The victim was attacked at the Suspects house and got away and ran to a neighbors house a few doors down for help. Read the Clinton Herald.
