First empty your cup, and you may actually be able to learn something, this man is amazing he is trying to demonstrate the technique. If you think for one minute this isn't viable then you truley have much to learn. These techniques are done at your first touch you can not use this as an offensive strike. Really need to absorb what Master zhu has to offer, if you are relly interested in martial arts.. This Is My masters , Master.
Actually Chin Na works very well. it depends on how good at it you are and the timing and accuracy of your action. I teach it to police and security personnel that use it in their work. When I demo it I get a few large strong people to come up and participate because i do not want people to think it works only on my students. As I said it has to be done correctly and accurately.
I stand corrected. These techniques work great on my eleven year old daughter. They would probably work equally well on a small adult with no fighting experience. They also work well on my students when demonstrating qin na techniques. Of course they naturally cooperate. Also, where is the push hands in this video? All I see is a very basic Crane Bobs it's Head lockout.
Why would you want to learn this to avoid having someone doing it to you if you don't think it works in a real self defense situation in the first place?
bobagee please open your mind a bit and look at the whole application. Chen style Tiaji is quite effective in any combat situation as with most Martial Arts to say it doesn't work really sounds a bit novice. Do you train in this art?
I have had my wrist locked by GM Zhu and I swear it hurts like hell!

Too bad none of this ever works in a real self defense situation. The only value in learning this is to avoid having someone do it to you.
