@htkendall You're welcome. Hopefully it shouldn't have damaged the controller. I'm pretty sure my set up would cut out under load before the hall wire were damaged.
@kitleithead ya mine always vibrates and judders it also cuts out before i can give it full power, is it hard to fix, i saw your other videos but didn't quite understand what the problem is.
@dmould66 Hi Yes, the Hall wires on the motor axel had split. But this could happen any where between your controller and motor, ie bad connections. Have a look at my 4 other videos in my channel explaining the fault. Cheers!
definately two wires touching and shorting.

ive got this problem on a brand new motor that looks identical to yours, how did you cure it? do you no what caused it?

Thanks for commenting. You're right, it was the hall wiring, and I may have damaged the fets, it cuts out under load now. Damn.

its hall timing. be careful you can damage the fets in the controller if you test it at full throttle to much.
