  • Comment removed

  • 2:30 Because screaming solves everything with dinosaur problems

  • Blew me away the first time I saw that T-Rex in JP. Friggin scary! lol

  • Dude the CG looks so real in this film.

  • 1:24 ... T-Rex says: « what the fuck d'you want ? »

  • 0:46 in the back fail

  • They're not that difficult to get away from. T-rex is so big you can just run into the woods or crawl up under something and they can't get to ya, kind of like how bugs get away from you. T-rex might be big but you just got to know how to hide; that's how I survived when I was attacked by one.

  • I can honestly say I wouldn't have turned that fucking flashlight on. I wouldn't assumed a Tyrannosaurs Rex is like a raccoon that you can scare off with light.

  • 1:20 I always used to believe that they were rolling around in dinosaur shit, because this scene is not far away from the scene where they stick their hands a big pile of triceratops crap.

  • Fun fact: at 0:19 when the T-Rex goes through the sunroof, that actually wasn't suppose to happen. The guy controlling the T-Rex moved it too fast so it broke the sunroof, so the kids' reactions are real. But Spielberg liked the reactions so much, he decided to keep rolling and use it for the film. :)

  • @SlipknotChick427 are you serious christ spielberg is a evil genius

  • A message to those complaining about the kids:

They are just kids. Anybody in this situation would have panicked and done anything to try to escape. Lex was attempting to catch Doctor Grant's attention, she was trying to save her brother and herself. Very understandable. To those who think the kids were annoying, give the novel a shot. Steven Spielberg did an impressive job developing their characters.

    Plus...I just love them!

  • i fucking hate screaming bitches

  • 2:30 CHILD MOLESTATION

  • @xmajesticmoosex it's only in your dirty mind.

  • Here's the deal. Some is CGI and some is an animatronic model. In my opinion the CGI looks incredible, considering this is almost 20 years old.

  • @EquinoxParadox91 actually the dinosaurs were realistic models with their real sizes. and these models were put in a computer software and then they did animations of the models. sorry for my english.

  • T-Rex - "I eat lawyers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

  • If this exact movie came out today, we would all be flabbergasted and in awe at its special effects. It wouldn't seem to be missing anything. The CGI is that good.

  • around 0:51 - someone very angry at canned food

  • 1:24 fucking scary face

  • cgi is better then lost world and jp3

  • Im till impressed with the special effects in this movie, and its from the 90's

  • Best movie ever

  • I really hope that was a Goldman Sachs lawyer.

  • the guy on the toilet should've ran

O__O of course he's gonna get eaten.

  • I'm a spino fan and all but...I really want to see spinsoaurus even TRY to take on the JP1 t-rex.

  • can't a guy take a dump in peace!

  • @TripleA90000 Apparently not...

  • That sreaming little bitch is so damn stupid!!! I'd be happy if the rex ate her. lol!!

  • @Ephri1 its totally natural for girls to be screaming at bugs. imagine, a girl looking at a trex face to face. obviously she gonna scream

  • Yes, we've all been there when somebody's T-Rex breaks into the toilet.

  • 1:40 to 2:16 is the best scene of the movie !

  • 1:47

That guy should be dead by the way, t-rex was very close so in real life t-rex would have eaten him, if there were really t-rex's in real life, which there probably aren't. Chances are this t-rex is fake. I'm not sure where they would have gotten one for this movie, especially one that was tamed enough to cooperate on camera.

  • @IndividualParties Imagine the mess if the dinosaur was still!

  • @IndividualParties I'll have you know that her name is Tess, and I'm watching her frolic in the back paddock right now. She finds it a little hard to gnaw on cars with such enthusiasm, but we just rubbed some beef stock on it and she was fine. You see its all in the voice, just sound assertive with a low tone and she'll do as you say.

  • I can honestly say I would have shit myself.

  • GO GET THE KIDS !!!!!!!!

  • In 1993,they made this movie so realistic by using the

  • In real life the kids would have been eaten during the part of the glass, that glass would have broke or something. But then again, in real life there wouldn't be a t-rex in the first place so I don't know why I'm complaining.

  • @IndividualParties I guess you're right. But you do know it's plastic, the glass?

  • @IndividualParties lol yeah that's a logical arguement. :)

  • @IndividualParties it was plexiglass, not glass

  • rip ford explorer

  • 2:07 wait rex! i ust need to fix my hair before u eat me...Ok eat me now...xD

  • this looks so real, now movies looks 3D and unreal

  • There will be a t Rex in the 4 one there are like 2 t Rex now on the island

  • Jazzywa why?

  • Why is Ian so dumb?

  • Epic. They don't make movies like this anymore.

  • i thought shining a flashlight on a dinosaur made them go away?

  • Well done kid's shine your flash light around and look at the hungry dinosuar!

  • Steven Spielberg, I do indeed love you! Man imagine being an actor for this movie. Yeah I love acting. xD

  • That's what my teacher does to me when she's angry. Only I'm not on the toilet.

  • One of the best movies of the 90's

  • @PS3gamer319 One of the Best Movies of the last 20 years

  • @PS3gamer319 you mean THE best

  • @PS3gamer319

Correction: One of the best movies ever

  • @PS3gamer319 This and Forest Gump rank at the top of the list to this day.

  • @PS3gamer319 One of the best movies ever.

  • Who likes the Jurassic park car ???

  • @mrclobwein I think its ugly

  • @mrclobwein I want the jeep! There's actually a guy at my home university who tricked out his jeep to look EXACTLY like the one on the movie.

  • I hope Jeff Goldblum comes back for the next one.

  • 1993, everyone... 1993....

  • such a flipping amazing movie.

  • Ian is a fucking badass

  • Sittin' on a toilet...

  • @revolutionarybum0711 ... Then in a T-Rex's mouth

  • @revolutionarybum0711 i was thinking more along the lines of "um...mr t-rex i know you're hungry and all, but can you at least wait until i'm done using the bathroom?!" haha

  • They better bring back trex, go back to the original island, or something! If JP4 turns out like jp3 I'm gonna go crazy!

  • @AmericanMan44

Jurassic park 3 sucked, an killing the T-Rex was seriously lame as hell... If they don't bring the T-Rex back for Jurassic park 4 don't bother making it i say.

  • why do they special effects look better here than now?

  • @luckyDancer100 because filmmakers used to use a blend of animatronics and only a little bit of CGI back when computers weren't all that good on special effects. For the most part here, the T-Rex is robotic and thus "real" hence why it still looks great. Modern filmmakers tend to just dominate the picture with CGI but this isn't as effective because the human eye can detect fakeness really well. For example, note how much better this film looks than Star Wars: Revengeof the Sith

  • @luckyDancer100 Animatronics, properly done, look far better than complete CGI - animators seem to be unable to animate things without making them unrealistically cliché or over the top.

Look at Alien, Jurassic Park etc.... the way the t-rex attacks the underside of the car and tyre in this clip, it only looks better because it's done in a realistic manner without flamboyancy

  • @luckyDancer100 i guess now they only use computer image which looks kinda weird sometimes, especially during close-up.

  • @luckyDancer100 No, they don't look better.

  • @luckyDancer100 Because this isn't entirely CG. The dinos are animatronic and animated mostly with stop-motion. They didn't have the software back then to make something as realistic as the t-rex in King Kong, for example.

  • @Divinehearts Still looks way better than the T-Rex in King Kong.

  • @Madchimpz True dat.

  • @Divinehearts They used CGI, not stop motion.

  • @ColtonKnapp A combination.

  • @Divinehearts There is no stop motion at all.

  • @Divinehearts There's no stop motion in Jurassic Park at all. It's a combination of CGI and animatronic robots/puppets. They did make stop motion models of the dinosaurs which were animated by hand, but the movements were converted into the computer and transferred onto the CG dino models. This movie literally revolutionised CG we know today. I also think the Rex in JP looks better than the V-Rex in King Kong 2005. Just saying. The dinos in general look better in this movie than in KK too.

  • @somethinglacking1

absolutely. the cgi in king kong was crap. actually the dinosaurs in jurassic park 1&2 even looked better than those in jp3

  • @luckyDancer100 that t-rex is not made by special effects its an actual robot or a thing u know.

  • @luckyDancer100 I think ILM introduced the digital age of special effects. Jurassic Park and Terminator 2 were the 1st films ILM incorporated digital effects. Then began the digital revolution...:)

  • Its T-Rex Awareness week. Every week a lawyer, accountant or tax specialist gets eaten by T-Rex. It may be someone you know or even you. Please allow to raise awareness of T-Rex attacks and protect endangered lawyers and accountants today!

  • what he say at 1:40

  • @brancool88 IAN FREEZE!!!

  • @brancool88 Get the kids

  • At 2:03 T-Rex: "Well, look what we've got here!"

  • 1:23 for friendship

    Grant: Hey!

    T-rex: Hey!

  • The movie is different than the book. :P

  • who wants to eat something that's taking a shit?

  • if only if i can lure it to a JB consert

  • Even as a kid I was rooting for T-Rex to eat those little buggers.

  • I HATE this clip cause those cids are so retarted. (flaslight)

  • 1:22 in his mind he was feeling so Kick ass. I can take on this mother!!!

    HEY!!

    RAWARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

    Awe shit! O.o

  • EUGENE SLEDGE OMG! haha

  • Malcom thinks himself to be so smart, yet he does really stupid stuff like this alot.

  • Can't wait for part 4!!!!!

  • 2:34

Gumball: "Don't move! She can't see us if we don't move."

Tina: "That's only in the movies."

  • Haha, I can imagine what the guy in the WC thought, when T-rex was looking at him.

    "Goodbye earth" xD

  • You move or not he sees you in any way

  • 1993? These special effects were the bomb when this movie came out!!!

  • @Maloperverso They still are. Isn't it funny? This movie's like 18 years old, yet NO ONE has managed to make better dinosaurs yet. WTF?

  • @Maloperverso still is better than some crap out nowadays :/

  • Comment removed

  • 1:23...The t-rex looks so real in that shot when he roars at Dr. Grant. seriously no special affects top this movie. everyone is so into computer animated shit that it looks way to fake and unrealistic...this movie used an actual robot for this scene. and it paid off big time.

  • even if t rex had motion detecting eyes, they would see when Rex moved its head all throughout the scene

  • Y the Trex eat a motionless man in toilet??

  • @Tornado78910 Because he smelt goood.

  • fuck bulletproof, i want windows that are T-rexproof

  • can someone explain me why first there's a jungle behinde the wire where the t-rex appears and when they are going to escape trough the wire there is a huge hole (when they go down by the rope)?

    sry for my english

  • This movie was my Star Wars. When it was originally released, Star Wars' popularity was driven in large part by its use of existing technology in a truly mind-blowing way. That's exactly what Jurassic Park did in 1993. I was 15 and it still holds my personal record for the most times I've seen a movie in the theater during its original release (6). I think perhaps The Matrix did the same thing for some 6 years later, then Avatar 10 years after that. What will be the next game changer, I wonder?

  • 1:53

I think that guy might have shat himself.

  • Jurassic Park was the first movie to use CGI to animate living creatures... why is it it STILL looks infinitely more believable than most of the stuff we see these days?

  • @SsnakeBite Amen. I just posted a similar question. I think JP struck the perfect match of CGI and robotics instead of relying totally on CGI. I think JP3 looks like dog shit compared to the original. The Trex vs Spino fight scene in particular looks like a cartoon.

  • looks like he CRACKED that window open!

  • Would closing that door do any good?-.-

  • the trex is deadly

  • Jurassic Park was surely the best Dinosaur series there ever was, when I was young I would look up the islands and never find them...

  • CGIs best moments...

  • smosh anyone?

  • CGI was never this good again...

  • 2:10 - did he died??

  • @terratrema yes

  • @terratrema Sure looks like it to me.

  • @terratrema obiously he got eaten by a T rex what age are you 5?

  • @AIBot502

Did man's aged 5 is deathed?

  • @terratrema No im talking to you...we all will die if we got eaten by that thing...

  • @terratrema What do you think? Of course he died! Nc Nc...

  • The most beautiful marriage of Stan Winston Studio's brilliant animatronics and ILM's CGI!

  • WoW i was born in 1993!!!

this is like long time ago ...

  • why there is no scene where Rexy comes out of the electric walls?

  • looks like the lawyer had a

    *puts on sunglasses*

    a dark descent yyyyyeeeeeeeaaahhhhh-no

  • shine your flashlights kids look at the hungry dinosa------ OMG I CANT FEEL MY LEGS!!!!!!!!!

  • @mensshcarrella quz its not an animation its like a dol

  • @jaberd100 The "doll"/animatronics t-rex was only used for close-up shots. Whenever we see the entire animal; walking, running, eating guy etc., it's all cgi. Even the car is cgi in certain shots, which i would never have guessed, but it turns out to be true.

  • Some privacy plz!

    T-Rex: WHAAAT!!!

  • My god, T-Rex is such an amazing yet terrifying beast..

Best portrayal of Tyrannosaurus Rex ever in any film...

  • the t-rex looks so freakin' real!!!!

  • @mensahcarrelle how you know it looks real if you never saw a real t rex in ure entire life? :D you know that sciences descovered new things that reptiles.. and specially t rex have hide / fell , on them beside that hard skin you saw on the movies? :d

  • @reallylovingyou Don't you get all scientific on me,Einstein!I'm only saying that the dinosaures are so well made that they look real.Sam Winston did a great job.Stop pissing me off, geek!

  • @reallylovingyou hes right it does look real. Maybe the features of the Rex are different than they were 65 mil years ago, but its movements r so fluid. And the roar. The way it walks looks real.

  • @airjordan23freak Now thats a comment, not like a kid with a lot of testosteron on him, and yea i get it ty, but all i wanted to say is what i heard not to be " genious "

  • @reallylovingyou thank you

  • 2:03 That's your last shit

  • this T-rex is a fucking retard ;p

  • this, is honestly the greatest series of movies of all time.

  • I LOVE this movie sooo much! It was also the reason I became a vegetarian

  • @bookworm59AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH , I lol'd

  • This is probably my favorite one of the movies. I love to get scared! I love that roar! They make it look so real. :) Jurassic Park FOREVER! <3 And that girl has to be quiet unless she wants to be eaten ALIVE! AHH!

  • 2:20 "I'm stuck, the seat's got my feet" "That's your nuts"

  • That roar at 1:08 was ridiculous, damn that sound affect was beautiful

  • Ian D:

  • shortly after the t rex knocks down the plexiglass roof(severing a large section of it), the kids should have been slipping around on the back seat, because leather is very slippery when wet, and that means tim should have been able to slip right out from under the seat which the top of the seatback was pinning him down when the SUV was overturned and crushed

  • I love this movie but The kids deserve to die they are so stupid they did everything wrong. also the chaos theroy guy is an idiot as well the t-rex was leaving but he decides to have it follow him. STUPID PEOPLE SHOULD DIE NATURAL SELECTION!

  • I love the part where the t-rex is tearing apart the underside of the car then decides that the tire must die!

  • 0:35

Alan: Dude im so high right now. I see a dinosaur eating that car...

Malcolm: wtf dude? lemme see. (wipe wipe) WHOA...

  • @GANJAxxTHExxCURE Goddammit .. thanks alot man, that's so hilariously funny I'm gonna always be thinking that whilst watching this scene from now on .. XD

  • Well hello there Mr. Lawyer, your gonna make the world hell one day so I'm just gonna eat ya. Crunch

  • i think the best part of this scene was when everyone was anticipating the t rex's appearance.

I remember watching it when i was younger and i was terrified when the goat leg fell on the sun roof. then when it finally appeared it became the most terrifying i had seen
