You didn't write yoga, the siddhas did, and what they wrote includes god, so don't be a moron, you don't have a clue what your talking about, its obvious.
Yes I agree its important that one make sure they are receiving an authentic technique and lineage. If you do your due diligance, you will find that Siddhanath's is quite authentic. Though his gravity speaks for itself, he also has personal ties with two traditional lineage holders - Hariharananda and Shailendra Sharma.
Mahavatar Babaji Kriya Yoga is a sacred technique given through diksha; it cannot be disseminated freely. But other techniques such as the Siddhanath Surya Yoga can and have been. Please see the video on his Surya Yoga if you are hungry for a powerful technique. Warm regards, ~hamsayogi (Yogiraj Siddhanath's videographer)
It's not part of our western culture, the idea that even saying something can have universal resonance. That's probably why you think it's a waste of energy. Meditation isn't just a way of unwinding at the end of a busy day in the office.
I would like to practice Kriya Yoga and from what I'm understanding it is more of an exercise of the mind or consciousness than it is of the physical nature. Would you say it is more like meditation? It is not easy to find information on Kriya Yoga -- would you need to locate a spiritual teacher to guide you with this sacred practice? Also, what are your feelings on the Five Rites practiced by the Hunzas? I appreciate any information you can offer. Thank you so much -- God Bless.
Technically kriya itself is a form of pranayam (means of controlling life force through breath), but it has several steps or aspects designed to facilitate the process of unfoldment of Patanjali's ten yogic steps. One of these is physical in that you combine a certain hatha yoga asana along with kriya pranayam. Its purpose is to balance and calm the mind and body in preperation for meditation and also to vitalize it during and after long meditations.
Some people say you definitely need a living master to practice kriya yoga but i think that depends on the calbire of the master. I found that deep practice of kriya attracted my guru's response (he left his body years ago) in miraculous ways, so it isnt a necessity to have him in the body to guide you but it does depend on his spiritual state and the sincerity and regularity of your own practice of the technique.
The Five Tibetan Rites are very good, especially since they are simple and there are only 5 of them. Just make sure to do them safely (not too vigorously).

Love this
"Humanity is one's only religion,
Breath one's only prayer, and
Consciousness one's only God. "
but what happens when we find other than humanity with conscious consciousness? Deal with it then because now they are not here- they are nowhere?
Thank you for bringing your message of love to the world through the internet.
