I gotta say, this episode made me feel a little bit better when I watched it. I'm afraid of flying and something about Dean Winchester being afraid of flying was, like, better, somehow. But at least with him, his fear was more legit, because at least he KNEW the plane was going to crash. I always just wait for it lol

Y'know when you think about it, it's usually Dean's emotions that are out of ontrol, be it fear or anger or self-indulgence, very rarely Sammy's so in that aspect, Sam is almost always the caretaker. Dean just can't hold on all that tightly.

Y'know as old as this episode is and as much as I've watched it, I just realized today that Dean got on the plane, not to save all those people, but because Sammy says he'll do the job alone. And the only thing that scares dean more than flying (which he can't even say, by the way) or cats flying out of old metal lockers :), is being left alone without his brother. Can't believe it took me this long to see why he changes his mind.
