  • how does it compare to a deville 4 x 10?

  • you've got quite the setup bro.

  • awesome cleans...are you usin a compressor?

  • i dont need any pedals to sound like slash with this amp do i?

  • hey! does this amp takes pedals well?

  • have you got to push the volume loud to make this amp sound good?

  • lol i have that same strap with the skeletons on it from planet wave lol

  • on the other video everyone was saying it was crappy but i like it and it seems to me so does everyone else here, why do you have a mic up next to the amp

  • I like this demo better than the one by Nevada music. I like the high gain coming out of this amp too. I think I might get this one over the Traynor YCV50.

  • I have the same crate as you bro, great amp

  • Sounds a bit thin to me.. But could be the laptop speakers.

  • @xebec30 your an idiot...

  • @jakefortwice And your insults are pathetic.

  • damn ur rich

  • What do u think of the fender deluxe vm??? Btw, nice review.

  • Argh!!! My Haze40 crapped out after three weeks and the guys at the music shop told me it will only break again! They are only giving me NZ$1000 for it so I am very unsure what to do! Maybe a Blackstar Club 40 or Marshall MA50C...? Thoughts anyone?

  • @GuitarsRockandLife

    Answer = Engnater

  • Marshall Haze or Fender Hot Rod III ?

  • @LockerzSwagbucks Depends, what type of guitar do you have and what type of music are you in to?

  • @GuitarsRockandLife I have a les Paul Epiphone and an Fender Strat. I might also consider the Marshall MA 50C since it's in the same price range. I play mostly Zeppelin, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray kind of stuff, a bit of metal.

  • @LockerzSwagbucks Awesome! Great choices there! I would definitely play the two of them... the MA50 C is pretty similar except I think with the MA50C they put less time into digital effects and more time into just solid distortion tones. I am looking to buy a Blackstar Club 40 at the moment... I think they seem quite good too! Really your choice but, be careful, my Haze has broken down :( Great while it lasted though and would be great with those bands...

  • I am just about to get one of these, i tried it with my old Yamaha SG600 last year, great sound. Being a Malcolm Young deciple all this amp needs is a guitar and a lead, having been a live engineer for over 20 years the one thing i have learnt most, is the best sound comes from the least use of FX!

  • A little less of that chicken pickin', and maybe we could hear the SOUND of the note, rather than how fast the player can noodle. Useless demo.

  • if im on the OD channel, can i still change the EQ`s???

  • @vSupaSonic2051 yeah i think it's hot for teacher

  • @vSupaSonic2051 yeah i think it's got for teacher

  • When does the clean start to break up? And is the dirty any good for metal?

  • I just bought one (Haze 40) 2 hrs ago. I'll give some honest feedback (no pun intended) in a week or so once I have tried all of my guitars out on it. Gibson Les Paul w/498t Bridge Gibson SG 2 490's R&T, American Standard Strat and a Vintage 1985 Kramer Baretta with a Duncan Distortion Sh6 and one hell of a Floyd Rose.

  • can anyobdy tell me how much this amp costs? right now i have a fender hot rod deluxe but i am dissapointed that it doesn't have a great overdrive setting, i have a boss overdrive pedal but it isn't the same...can anybody help?

  • if you crank it up on the clean channel does it overdrive nice?

  • I've been a Marshall fan for a lot of years, this Haze sounds lifeless to me.I bought one about 10 months ago and took it back.I don't know how to explain it any better. You would think that a 40w Marshall cranked up would kick ass but there's just something missing. Maybe it needs a better speaker.

  • 4:04 holy shit! my subwoofer moved over the floor !! amazing harmonic power! love it

  • I want to play like this guy, nice right hand work ... what's the latest? like the Haze?

  • i dont get it.....people watch these videos primarily to see how a certain amp sounds but then people attatch them to a million different effects pedals like in this video and you dont have a clue what the actual amp sounds like anymore, sooo whats the point of this video???

  • @MysteriousPheasant Please do watch the entire video before you comment. :) cheers

  • Ive got a JCM2000 DSL/1960A cab and its probably the BEST sounding amp Ive ever heard.Perfect distortion, great cleans, and it was only $500 :D hows this thing stack up distortion wise? Great cleans, but does it have as much low end/room filling-ness? like not "is it loud" but does it punch you in the face like a stack? or is that just impossible from a combo? Oh and how much gain does it have?

  • i am thinking of buying one, does it come with a footswitch?

  • yeah i have one i love it i just wish it was a little louder with 2-12,s.

  • y do you need the mics for the amps???

  • can this amp be good quality at low enough volume for practicing at home?

  • @SteelerStar77 a friend of me got it, he can just play at low volume with it

  • @SteelerStar77 yeah

  • these amps sound kinda dead to me... missing the essence of what your going for arent they

  • 4:02 - 4:08 , amazing sound man!

Can you send me the tabs of this little sound/solo? (sorry my bad english)

    btw, great Demo/Overview ;)

  • I use the same delay, compressor and wah as you =p

  • I have that Fender DeVille. I love it. Do you like the clean tone on the DeVille or the Haze better? My friend is looking for a new amp at a $700-$900 budget.

  • I just bought this amp but haven't recieved it yet. but i just heard some rumors about this thing being a peace of junk saying it buzzes to much and the tubes burst and the speakers suck.. what do you think?

  • I have one of these, its a great amp. I just wish it had separate EQ for the drive channel. They sound even better once the speaker breaks in IMO the Celestion is a good match for this amp. Great for blues on a low gain setting too. I reckon Blackstar had this in mind when they designed the HT40

  • @bluesmeisterr

    i agree, amazing amp

  • yea i can really hear the saturation.

  • How would you compare this to the Marshall MA 50 watt?

  • @guitarmessiah95

in my opinion the haze sounds more rock n roll...,40 watt and 50 watt...there´s no difference

  • @guitarmessiah95 From what ive heard the ma 50 seems to have more gain and more metal tone but the haze has a classic rock and bluesy tone with more bass, i personally prefer the haze

  • haze ou peavey classic 30 ???

  • awesome little amps! very versatile, lightweight, sound great! lot of bang for the buck!

  • @goner2008 yea its super versatile for basically anything you want to play

  • @fender51503 i dont know if this is asked alot, but how does it cover sweet child o mine? and 80's hard rock like that?

  • good for stage ?

  • @ross2992dimebag oh yea....this will definately get you over a drummer and then some

  • @ross2992dimebag I played an outdoor show i couldn't turn her up past 4

  • @ross2992dimebag I just used it tonight, I got way over the drummer and two other guitars. I got feedback and absolutely holy tone with it cranked three fourths up, and the sound guy didn't even have my monitor on. Outdoor concert too. Amazing amp.

  • is this amp good for a GNR/Aerosmith sound? im not looking for the exact sound just something like that to build off of.

  • @GNRFAN243 yes,most definately

  • this is thru the amp only ? what settings ?

  • @cobol11111 na i use a vox satchurator for my overdrive/distortion and a boss dd-3 digital delay in a couple of sound clips

  • First of all, great demo, thank a ot, but....could tell me how is the med/treb/bass on the amp?sound compressed, do you use the compressor BOss all long you re playing? what do you mean by the Satchurator? and for finish why dont you put the mXR on? reallllllllll nice sound , i will okk for it!! thanks for replay.

  • Na,the clean channel on this amp with a tele or stratocaster is very open sounding and non-compressed, mid-range kinda sound, thanks

  • I wish I had the dough to dish out on a sweet amp like that. I'm really liking the tone.

I guess I'll have to save up... ha.

  • yea,it retails about $700,check craigslist you'll more than likely find something good, thanks!

  • is this a good amp for punk? ive been looking for an affordable EL34 tubed amp. would it be good for a Green Day-ish punchy sound? and can the gain get heavy enough for some metal?

  • Nice sounding amp great playing, I actually just started checking this amp out lately, I have a JSX which I like a lot but hate the weight, and the compression.

  • how good is this amp with a boss metal zone distortion pedal?

  • idk,it handles pedals great though.

  • What's your set up? IO see a mixer going into a Laptop. Is that a Mac? :)

  • I mike the amp with a sennheiser dynamic range microphone and then goes into my 6-channel mixer and then straight into my computer.I now use acid music studio for recording

  • @fender51503 Cool. I juice my Haze with an OCD instead of the vox satchurator.

Just wondering, why did you choose acid over the other software? Alot of people have been praising Logic over Cubase. Do you have any complete recordings with your set up?

  • I use acid studio, just because its pretty simple and easy to use and I dont really know a whole lot about other recording software.I've been wanting to put up videos, but i havent had a whole lot of time lately.I plan on doing some more recording, pedal board demo, acoustic demos,etc....Make sure you subscribe!

  • yea man great vid. i just picked up this amp, so far im a little disappointed with the distortion. i cant really turn it up high because of the neighbors. but i cant get a lot of distortion out of it. im forced to use my metal distortion pedal much more than id like too. when i use it on the clean channel it sounds good. but when i try to add it to the overdrive channel it sounds kind of fuzzy and muddy. any advice? im using an ibanez Rg. with emg 81 bridge and 85 neck

  • Well...the only thing i can tell you is to just turn it up.Tube amps dont really work well at low volumes and sound best when cranked,Just go tell your neighbors to get over it.Lol! Thanks

  • lol i figured that. the highest i have turned it up is like 4.... then i get a headache lol. and i live in a townhouse so i cant really just tell them to get over it haha. i dont mind using pedals. im just going to be pissed if marshall shorted me on gain even i cant use it, i guess its just on principal. but how is the gain when you turn it up high?

  • ok well its either the "tell your neighbors to get over it" thing, or you could get an attenuator. You probably dont wanna shell out the cash though... whatever, id say its probably a worth it :)

  • Comment removed

  • cool demo.... im still foolin around with my mics! but nicely done, supposably these amps have been breaking down but mine is still running fine

  • Jeez, you never fail to amaze me! You've built up quite a load of gear there!

  • Thanks!

  • Great Video

  • Thank you!

  • nice I got 3 of those pedals haha

  • Cool,Boss make outstanding pedals!

  • Outstanding review of the Marshall Haze.

Marshall made an awesome amp (I checked it a few days ago-it has great tone)

    5 *

    Robin :o)
