Tin Foil DOES create hotspots, from my experience it doesn't matter with a florescent because those don't produce much heat in the first place. Secondly, it looks like nutrient burn for sure, just judging by how extreme the burn is and where it is located on the leaf.

The lights supplied with the Aerogarden provide a growth spectrum of light, not a flowering spectrum. It is an easy thing to fix. Just do a little research. Open the bottom of the Aerogarden to disconnect the light fixture. Put your own in. Do the research on the proper bulb. You can put your girls into a permanent summer growth spurt. They can produce continuously for years and years.

@munchandmindy get a cord from a radio that unplugs plug it in to your light hood. n put a timer on it i bought 1 a wall mart for 5 bucks. also to put an advantage on your budding period get 2 2way plugs n put 4 full spectrun cfl's on the sides. also you should google scrog growing. for small space grow with a high yeild also if you need more space vertically take the hood off put it on a lifting system ive done all the above n my garden of blueberry n bubbalicious is faaaaantastic.

tin foil doesnt reflect the light very much at all, and when it does it makes hot spots which is bad for the leaves, plain white tihjngs are better for light reflection :-)
