  • Magnífico, Esplêndido!!!

  • Happy Birthday Mozart!

  • Comment removed

  • This is not a song. A song has lyrics. Stop calling it a song.Stop.It.

  • God I hate it when people call it a "song"! D:<

  • I don't really care much about this so called Mozart Effect. The music alone is enough to satisfy me, just make me smile soooo muchhh :D

  • impossible to play

  • Excellence..beauty...perfection....great masters!!!

  • I love this song! It is so beautiful!

  • This song is so wonderful to hear

  • It was the media who said that listening to this would increase your IQ temporarily. Quite funny that after this Mozart was bought a lot more, and parents concerned with troublesome children had hope. Just listen to this if you like it, and not to make yourself smarter. Just the fact that you believe that music can make you smarter proves that your IQ is lower than the average.

  • @1188AA Though I believe it can give you a certain mindset, helping you with these excersises.

  • Mozart and Ouran High School Host Club make a lovely couple! How cheerful most of Mozart's compositions are so cheerful (he was a child at heart and mind and body.) mixed with the bright personality of Tamaki and some immaturity from the rest of the host club make such a grandeur of innocence, wit, and charm. Cheers!

  • Okay, so I'm doing science fair, and the topic I created was "The Effect of Different Tempos of Music on Assessment Performance," and as I was researching, I saw an article that this song is said to increase your IQ temporarily by 10 points. When I looked it up on YouTube,,, I was like "Heyyyy..... Wait a second......

    . . .

THATS THE SONG THAT TAMAKI PLAYED ASDFJKL *dies*

  • The more you stare at the picture....the funnier it gets.

  • @Thatsspirit Hehehehehe.. pervy minds r fun xDD

  • came here after 2 years of searching what the name was to this song after watching Ouran High. This reminds me of The Rocket Boys on Beck

  • Wonderful!!

  • this song can bring people back from the dead.

  • got to know this song through Ouran High School Host Club too :D

  • intelligence is actually 96% inherited from parents

  • @dorcassiu130 Thats completly false intellgence is not genetically programed. Theres a protein that codes for a gene that has something to do with intelligence but an enriched enviroment can significantly increase the level of cognitive/ emotional development in humans. Google epigenetic research.

  • it doesn't matter where you found it...as long as you're listening to it now.

  • TALAGA MAGALING

  • 超爱Mozart, 伟人!

  • I swear this helps me so much! I can't study with dead silence...but can't study with other music besides mozart either!

  • I want to play this!!!! Can I have 2 extra hands pleaseee!

  • I'm pretty sure that whatever IQ percentage you gain after listening to this magnificent piece will immediately be lowered by reading the comments section. :-)

  • @siliconface Ha-ha! Word.

  • I jam lots of hardcore bands and i really enjoy this classical stuff..... i appreciate the smoothness of this stuff....

  • When I here this I think of ouran high school host club and tamaki sempai playing this.

  • Nodame Cantabile!!!

    Gyaboo!!

  • @Bufangqi Chiaki senpai!!!

  • this is beautiful ... I like to play such classical music in low volume while studying ..... It really effective.... especially with mathematics and physics !

  • I've listened to this 10 times already and everytime it still sounds refreshing!

  • I don't listen to Mozart just to "boost" my IQ points (I even dispute the methodology of such research). I simply listen to Mozart for Mozart's sake.

  • i can see Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club playing this... man episode 15 was awesome lol

  • Hey, there are times when I need 8 or 9 more IQ points, even for 15 minutes!

  • love it! ♥

  • Comment removed

  • Makes me think that the posters general summary of tests is creating a placebo effect for the viewers and they think the song is making them "smarter" instead of them noticing that they aren't that dumb in the first place. True story bro.

  • This is just fucking awesome! I´m so smarter than yesterday. I got a 10 in my architecture test!

  • I feel smarter already :P. This music is just amazing. I love it

  • this is the duet that nodame and chiaki play ;)

  • magnificent!

  • Yeaaaa UCI!! Zot zot zot!

  • I don't give a crap whether my IQ increases or not, the music is just badass.

  • Comment removed

  • @blueraineee what they meant by 'badass' is that this piece of music is AWESOME!!!!

  • @blueraineee Yeah...badass means awesome, so does kickass. It was a good comment on the song....

  • Comment removed

  • @blueraineee Thank god that you are here to police comments on youtube songs Dr. Obnoxious. Maybe you can visit a Kindergarten next and brow beat them for not "truly" appreciating quality literature after they express their joy post Cat in the Hat.

  • I listened to this before I took my GRE practice test today as well as during the test. I scored 40 points higher than my last practice test two days ago. I'm not saying this tune magically made me score higher, but I do believe it lubricated my mind enough to think more clearly than usual.

  • @LolCaramelz

That is mean... You don't need to call people retards because of what they like. Plenty of really smart people read manga and they aren't really "learning" from manga, it's like reading a book. Do you only read to learn and not because you like to? You don't need to be so mean.

  • I used to like Anderson and Roe's interpretation, but this one has such perfect timing and clarity...with no emotional dragging on, if you know what I mean. This "dragging on" style is from Romantic era music and has rubbed off on many classical pianists of our time. It's nice to hear some pianists who just get it right! (see the Anderson and Roe version on the left and I think you can see what I mean) But I'm okay with anyone who disagrees...

    Happy listening!

  • Thumbs up if you think I'm a genius for liking his music

  • Wonderful !!!!

  • Most probably there's lots of music that decreases the IQ of people.

  • @chulio1969 I agree, it's sad. Some people laugh at me when I tell them that I love listening to classical music. They ask: 'how old are you? 60?' lol. I tell them 'well that means that I'm more mature than your stupid brain, what do you listen to? Britney Spears?' haha. You should see the look on their faces, it's funny.

  • luv this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

  • Haha i love this, when nodame and chiaki played this i was like "whoa"...and i fell in love with it xD

  • 6 people can NOT hear ( DEAF )!! :D

  • This really helps me to concentrate a lot more than usual for some reason. I don't care how, but it does seem to help me somehow :D

  • @UltraRobbie I read that songs with 60 beats per minute like this one activate certain areas of the brain that help memory and learning. So if you listen to songs like this, it will help you learn stuff...this one guy taught a class a second language in a day what usually takes a few months with this song in the background!

  • @LinkShouldBeAGirl Oh, cool :D

  • @LinkShouldBeAGirl Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. Everybody just believe whatever you read, and remember that scientific studies can't be wrong, I mean come on there scientific!

  • @Gargantupimp Well I think reading about the many studies is better than just deciding from nothing but your own feelings that it can't be true. I mean come on, I've never seen it happen, it can't be true! LOL! Right?

  • Wonderful.

  • This is an amazing song! I played it for a recital with my twin brother about two years ago! My favorite song to play though is Piano Sonata No. 14 in C# Minor, Op. 27, No. 2: II. Adagio Sostenuto! Beethoven is pretty cool as well, but I have to give all credit for AmAzInGnEsS to Mozart! =P

  • This has to be the best of Mozart's Work, His Requiem was Amazing i cried, His early works took my breath away, and now this makes me want to cry with joy, He must have put so much time and effort into this piece , I cannot Believe there are 6 people who dont like this, How could there be 6 people?, should be 0, If you honestly put a thumbs down on this video then you have no life and might as-well kill yourself, At-least RESPECT it as work, and BTW without Works such as this the world would end

  • @pasmoressj2 As Nietzsche would say, life without music would be a mistake.

  • Mozart is a true genius

  • i love this piece, i enjoy this song very much!

  • Nodame Cantabile is EPIC! and I enjoy this song very much(=

  • Finally! I know who recorded this!

Murray Perahia is the best Mozart interpreter for me. + Radu Lupu.

  • By any chance, could I get this song from you?

It's unusually cleaner than the others I've heard.

  • I like to open up 3 windows of this song and play them all together. the second one starts 8 seconds after the first and the 3rd plays 16 seconds after the first :-)

  • This song is the boss xD

  • i love it >w<

  • haha was listening to this wondering how one person could play this, getting very depressed bout my skills then i see its two pianos!

  • hey everybody! this is Lupu & Perahia dream duo! phenomenal...how clear & pure every single note is...

  • 2 pianos. 2 pianos. 2 pianos. 2 pianos. 2 pianos.

  • Sweet, and I totally go to UCI too.

  • I'm not much of a fan of the piano, but this piece is just simply wonderful! I really wanna learn it! But then i'll need a partner to play it with.... Gah I didn't think it through...

  • Subjects were once tested with a paper-folding task, part of the Stanford-Binet intelligence test which measures spatio-temporal reasoning skills. After listening to this song for ten minutes, their scores improved 48%.

  • GOTTA LOVE IT #LOL

  • This piece is also on Nodame Cantabile

Its the first piece Nodame and Chiaki play together and makes Nadame fall in love with Chiaki nwn

  • @lastlinkleo yeah!

  • The guy at 0:01 looks like Rajesh Koothrapalli!

  • @orcelb Who is he?

  • @YaredCinema The Indian guy in The Big Bang Theory!

  • @orcelb

    hahaha totally

  • @orcelb

    It's Murray Perahia

  • I wonder if my school would let me listen to this during my final...

  • @TheInsomniac124 That would be awesome!

  • Can you play it with just one piano and still sound awesome?

  • @xistoxs I guess

  • OMG!! the mozart effect really works.

i was doing my HW. and i didnt get it.

now i went downstairs started listening to Mozart k448 and i got it when i went back

  • This is my fav classical song at the moment.

    MOZART EFFECT WORKS

  • apparently it makes me smart to listen for more of mozart's

  • another thing i should note... I think this music makes me better at keeping time

  • I should start listening to this everyday, I love everything about this piece of music!!

  • Sounds amazing. i will be cooking to this tomorrow

  • this is probably played 8 octaves higher than the C.

but since this is a double piano piece then its the same :)

  • Certified Intergalactic! Mozart K. 448 - Lupu/Perahia Class IGBM

  • I have been listening and re-listening this for the past 1 hour. Going to start practising once I get the book!

  • BRAVO!

  • Mozart always succeeds in brining a smile to my face =).

  • bravo

  • if anyone dislike this, fck them

  • This song has been proven to make you smarter, spatial temporal reason

  • @cpoff16 yes yes as i recall it is known to produce "The Mozart Effect"

  • @cpoff16 recent studies from vienna university says that the mozart effect doesn' t exists

  • @cpoff16 recent studies from vienna university says that the mozart effect doesn' t exist

  • Mozart for life

  • 1:45 - 1:55 is PERFECTION!! :D

  • I WANT TO LEARN PIANO

  • I can see Nodame and Chiaki's fingers moving on the piano when I listen to this. Mozart truly was a genius <3

  • There are no words..... now that is music <3

  • I love this song.

  • @EffLos its not a song, its a masterpiece

  • excelente interpretación! =)

  • The very best rendition as I know. Without any excessive pedalling, clear and light strokes, an understanding "con spirito".

  • i totally adore ouran host club¡¡¡...and this song is just amazing¡¡¡...

  • Stunning.....

  • yayyy!!! this is in ouran high school host club XD J'adore ce morceau

  • @sassygirl331 i love this song and Ouran!!

  • Thank you for an opportunity to learn...

  • OMG I LOVEIT™®©

  • this is great ive been looking for this for years but nodame cantabile helped me find it:D anime and music ftw!

  • The Mozart effect temporary boosts your IQ.

Spatial-temporal intelligence allows you to perform 3-D type manipulations on a mental image. It’s thought to be important for problems that arise in areas such as “mathematics, engineering, architecture, science, art, games (e.g. chess) and everyday life”. It's really hard to believe, but it's scientifically proven! ;)

  • ...amazing... :)

  • listened to this whilst caring for an elderly gent , this particular morning we were listening to radio 3 and have to say it had all the hairs on my arms and well everywhere standing on end ,wonderful.

  • If Mozart had been able to get ahold of Finale or another composing software, he would've been able to write a symphony in a day, no doubt in my mind.

  • @Leitilumo he didnt really "write" symphonys..they actually came to his mind, and all he did was record them. mozart's symphonies had absolutely NO revision

  • @blomingblossum i was watchn that episode of Ouran high school host club today i love the show and i love this piece you are in no way being disrespectful

  • If Mozart did this 250 years ago. Imagine what he could do with todays technology. He would, to put it simply, blow our ass away.

  • this also plays in nodame cantabile this is a very good piece i hope i can play it with duet

  • @mhanika04 That was my motivation to learn it, too. ^w^ Otherwise, when I first heard this song when I was a kid, it was, "I'll ask my sister or uncle to play it for me."

  • @mhanika04 ,.. I was looking for this piece for SOO LONG! I REALLY LIKE MOZART, and I heard it for the first time, when it was played by Tamaki from Ouran Highschool Host Club, and ALSO in Nodame Cantibile..

I WISH I COULD PLAY LIKE THAT!

  • @mhanika04 It's also featured in Ouran High School Host Club XD

  • @ClaireHitachiin YES!!!

I was listening to this for a research project, recognized it and fell off my bed screaming!!!

  • @ClaireHitachiin i love Ouran :3

  • its a beautiful piece....and you know when i learned piano this was the first piece i played with my frnd kei....when i was five...............

and this piece is just too ....... i dont know what to use to describe

  • Everytime I hear this song I picture Tamaki's pretty face playing it in that inn~~ <3

  • This music is supposed to help students score better on tests if they listen to it right before!!

  • @sjoschall And what test is this? From what I remember, tests in schools never had anything to do with IQ. But if this sonata can help enhance memory, then it might just help students score better on tests.

  • Mmhm, truly Amazing

  • amadeus, amadeus.....

  • This is nice, brighter than I'm used to, but interesting. A different sound than Anderson & Roe's performance which I prefer.

  • I WENT TO RADU LUPU'S CONCERT!!! YAY!!

  • this song is so beautiful, it really suites Ouran a lot.

Mozart, the young prodigy, such a shame he died so young

  • this song makes me smarter

  • @givemethatbeat777 yeah. :D I mean after listening to this like 100 times in one week I've become a genius. Really. You'll all hear of me.

  • Comment removed

  • @givemethatbeat777 THIS SONG WILL BE MY KEY TO HARVARD!!!! i just have to listen to it an infinite amount of times...

  • i like playing this on the vibraphone sound

  • I usually feel happier when I listen to Bach or Mozart. I'm not a classical music aficionado. I would not be surprised if it did positively change the brain, creating new connections and maybe making us smarter.

  • The Mozart Effect is shit. it has been reproduced many a times with that same song and many different song's and the results have never even been close to the original results or are very far from being the same to each other

  • @blomingblossum You said awhile ago that the anime, Ouran high school host club had the very same song played by mozart but then you concluded and said it had nothing to do with the song we're listening to? I think ur being irrational at what your saying or ur just being ignorant about your train of thought.

  • i need the sheets:(

  • SOUNDS GOOD

  • the spirit travels to many different places , enjoyable!!!

    abstract and pleasant.

  • สุดยอด คร้าบ

  • Latest researches disprove "Mozart effect".

Cannot copy the link here but you can find article on Sciencedaily webpage when using "mozart" as entry.

  • The latest researches disprove "Mozart effect".

  • Just a tip: The most fantastic, that he -probably- without knowing composed pieces which are truly increasing the efficiency in logic thinking.

Amazing, and beautiful and you really can find something wich suits your current emotion...

  • sñls vstnt 48,007

  • where is the 2nd movement

  • Why exactly was this piece chosen for the Mozart effect research? You should listen to Mozart's piano concertos too, especially 24 and 25. I think they may exhibit the mozart effect even more, because there are several layers, not just two.

  • Amazing!

  • Why does this sound better and better each time I hear it?

  • This song is so awesome <3.

    Makes me wonder why there's only 41k views ;~;

    I wish I could play this <3333

  • beautiful

  • Sometimes it seems like there are certain themes in mozart's music that recur over and over, but they never seem to grow old. So sublime...
