Okay, but after you do the tap-tap to the song, just listen? Can I import into a game like " Tap a Jam " and play with that song ? Or whatever... what's the difference between the original song, and the song-with- TAP MAKER ?

How do you upload the songs to your iPod touch if you're using "Tap Maker" on a MAC? And does your iPod have to be jail broken? (Cause I don't really want to jail-break it)

You upload the songs via SFTP clients, such as WinSCP for Windows, or CyberDuck For mac. you must know how to SSH into your iPod, and yes, your iPod must be jailbroken.

Cydia is an "App Store" for jailbroken iPods and iPhones. It has all sorts of tweaks and applications for the iPod/iPhone. You must jailbreak your iPod/iPhone to get Cydia. And, jailbreaking has no risk whatsoever. I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G and it was as easy as clicking a few buttons. Give it a shot, even if you don't like it, you can restore your iPod if you don't like it.

You have to jailbreak your iPod to get Cydia. There is a file in Cydia that you have to get called OpenSSH. therefore that is the only way. There is no risk to jailbreaking your ipod as it is impossible to brick it permentaly

yes you neeed cydia for SSH

if you jailbreak it you need to

install with cydia "Automatic SSH and Toggle SSH" and on your pc you need to install WinScp

i love your tap maker but the taps are going to fast compared to the music when i ssh them into my ipod. hopefully this is fixed. but what i noticed in the taps, is that half of them remain at 0.0000 before it starts climbing to 1.20383 2.1929320 3.9393143 and yeah

What operating system are you running?

Try going to Task Manager and making sure you aren't running too many processes that would significantly increase the CPU Usage

i am running windows vista home. i have a gaming rig with 3.0 ghz dual core intel proccesors. But i havent tried making taps with no other applications running. Thanks for you help btw :)

it was designed with Tap Tap Revenge (can be downloaded from the App Store) in mind, but there is a chance it will also work on Tap Tap Revolution. It may not work as well on Revolution as it would on Revenge.

SSH is downloaded from Cydia, the name of the program is OpenSSH. It allows you to access your iPhone's system files through an FTP Client.

Your iPhone's IP Address can be found by going to Settings -> WiFi -> Click on the BLUE ">" and your IP Address will be there.

after the song is completed, a dialogue will show up asking you to create the TAP and M4A files. You click that, and after a confirmation message comes up telling you that the tap and m4a have been created you can click transfer tap.

You will need to connect your iPod or iPhone to SSH, type in the iPhod's IP Address and have it detect the location of your Tap Tap REvenge(r) folder. This may take a minute...

Then once that is done, you can click Transfer, and it will auto transfer the taps =D

the K-Lite Codec Pack is for the codec called FFSHOW (if i recall correctly).

If you don't have it, you will be unable to preview songs.

I have a answer for you!!! Make sure you run the "Tap Maker" as a Administrator! Hopefully you are using Windows Vista... You go to the Application "Tap Maker" then LEFT CLICK, then click on "Run As Administrator" You HAVE to do that... EVEN IF YOU ARE IN THE ADMIN ACCOUNT! Hope that helps
