  • Great video. Thanks for adding. I particularly like your shots of LACoFD Station 127 (Emergency! Station 51). It looks like at the time you made the video (late '70s?), the station had an Engine and a Squad, just like in the show .... except they're parked opposite from how they were in the show, with the Engine closest to the kitchen, and the Squad closest to the sleeping area.

  • @ColinFWheeler I make the video in the early 1990's while my daughter lived in Torrence, CA. I have gone by there on a few other occasions in later years and each time they had a different apparatus alignment.

  • what were they doin with that supply line

  • They were training filling the hose with air. They use them as floatation devices for water rescue.

  • That was too classic!Doc,that was like wathing a preview for a NEW Emergency series.

  • Hey I have some guys that work for L.A. County and they would love this. One of them is LAcoFireGuy, his name is dennis.

  • Saw it Ralph, good stuff doc.............

  • what is in station 127, i was not aware of a squad unit being kept there, i thoguht it was an engine, lightforce and foam

  • u went to station 51

  • Actually, Emergency was filmed at LA County Station 127 in Carson. The video shows the outside of it at 3:54 on the movie counter.

  • i know that i still like calling it station 51
