@hkbecky don't worry, your cute cats will live long! they are not really very fat, it looks more like they have thick fur. my cat is overweight (because he always persistently demands for food and is a fussy eater), but he is 12 already and still going strong! =)

They seem to be a little overweight, I just learned that fat cats have shorter lifespans and thinner cats live past 10 years old, wish I had known that cause my kitty passed away at 10 :( your cats are extremely cute tho hope they're around for a long time!

@hkbecky It's not mange. Don't worry about it. It looks to me like your cat is just shedding. Dogs have that too. Just brush your cat or you can usually even pull that hair out and it won't hurt them because it comes out easily...but if it's not coming out easily, then just brush the cat. Obviously I can't truly tell what it is because I haven't seen your cat in person, but if it worries you, then go to the vet C:

@hkbecky theres nothing wrong, he just needs to be brushed. it happens to my cat all the time. it just grows a lot and clumps, you just need to pull it, doesnt hurt them a bit.

@hkbecky Honestly, it just looks like he's trying to shed his under coat. I bet if you gently pulled on one of the tufts of hair that is sticking out, it will easily come out in a small clump. My Siberian Husky used to blow her under coat in clumps like that and we had to brush her daily because of it. Try brushing him out, he'll probably love the attention, most of my cats did. :))
