  • amazing :)

  • amazing bits of advice - thanks!, have any of you used Olays latest line of products?? its not easy to get quality makeup in Somerville but i managed to get amazing cosmetic samples by going to "Gratis-Makeup-Samples", theyre cool.

  • solar bits are by MAC? right?

could someone reply the answer to me please?

    THANKYOU

  • ENKORE!!!

    Ur tutorials rock~

    U are so talented.

I am a make-up artist for 10 yrs this summer and am so impressed with your close up instructions and the fact that u use MAC!!!

    Keep up the amazing work!!!

  • you're so talented. i wish i can learn to do all that someday.

  • Hey Koren! Love the the videos!!! Which mixing medium do you use for applying the mac glitters and making them stick well? I checked the mac pro sight and I was overwhelmed with all the different types of MM!!!!

  • OMG...this is sóóó beautiful Koren!!!

AMAZING eyes do you have. :)

    I love the tutorial..and...you're eyes. <3

    You're the greatest. xxx

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS

  • yeah u such a geastest.

  • hi can you do some more tut. with the CS 88 palette's?? I dont have anything other then their stuff and I really cant find anyone using them.. PLEASE?????

  • Hi! just wanted to let u know that there are tons of people posting tuts using that palette. Just type in coastal scents or coastal scents 88 palette and you'll get tons of results. Just take a look thru their vids and i'm sure you'll find lots.

  • where do u get those solar bits?

  • can concelar be used instead of primer?

  • a lot of people use concealer, but for oily lids like I have and many others have, concealer creases. So primers are more ideal in our case.

  • oh thanx so much

i feel so speacial u replied

i guess i will start using primer now

  • Where can you buy Solar Bits? They're so pretty!

  • that looks like a great look for a party! i wish i could do it as well as you enkore!

  • i love your videos!!

  • beautiful look!

  • i love this look~~its sooo gorgeous!!!

  • that looks gorgeously dramatic!i wish i had an excuse/occasion to do such a look.

  • I LOVE THIS! i'm gonna try it!

but i'm POSITIVE that it won't come out

    as FLAWLESS as yours lol

    i love you koren!

  • koren u are just amazing what u do and the way u explain it its just great!

    congrats!

  • wow..u can barely tell that this is the eye of a man.amazing!

  • Shadow Shields would be good for this look ^^

  • thankyou very much!! kiss from belgium

  • excellent video! im going to try this look right now

  • Is it ok to use the cream colour base for oily lids, Koren?

  • It will CREASE a great deal if you have oily lids.

  • yeah, i find it creases very quickly :(

  • Thats was great. You are wonderful at explaining each step. THANK YOU! I love all your videos!

    -leelee

  • Amazing.

Very well explained , step by step.

    The final result is beautiful.

    Congratulations.

You are a very good teacher.

  • i love the lashes. do you happen to know what number/style they are? thanks :)

  • they are Ardell #33

  • thank you :)

  • that squinting tip really works! now i don't have to worry about poking myself in the eye anymore lol

  • this is a beautiful look Koren..thks so much..

  • yeah!! u r lol...i have small eyes and this is just what i've been looking for

  • if i don't have mixing medium, can i just use tab water instead?

  • hey doki - many uses water, whic works just fine. Mixing Medium will make it last longer tho. I have a video on how to make home made mixing medium if you havent seen that.

  • whoa...i just did a similar vid last week on solarbits :) i used the sunpower colour instead of scatterrays..which is the more gold colour...but yeah the finish is almost the same!

  • this is cute.

  • I love this video

  • love you! just gorgeous!

  • gorgeous

  • you have gorgeous eyes

  • :O thats so pretty!!

  • you make this looks so easy... it takes me forever to do my eyes

  • wow..you are amazing...

  • I have to say, hats off to this. The Solar Field line got the lowest reaction from me of any MAC lines I've seen in a while. But watching this video, I just have a cravvvving for sparkly eye shadows!! This is gorgeous m'darlin xx

  • This is absolutely gorgeous. And this is quite possibly the prettiest look I've seen using the Solar Bits. Kudos, Koren!

  • I'm totally new to *proper* makeup application. I noticed many of these tutorials people are not stretching the eyelid as I always used to do. I feel like if I don't stretch them out the eyeshadow will look messy. What do you think? Stretch or don't stretch?

  • hey lanam - as much as possible avoid stretching or tugging the eye area. This will cause the skin around the eye to wrinkle or sag at an early age. If you need to roll your finger close to the area that you need to work on instead of stretching. Most of my eye looks video I show how to do this. Just watch some of the eye looks.

  • Thanks Encore. I have both of these solar bits and I'm going to try this look the next time I want something dramatic for night

  • never seen a man put on eyeshadow n stuff before but good vid though :)

  • I really like the way you zoom right in on your eye so that we can see what you're doing. And you do an excellent job of explaining each step!

  • Hey Enkore, is that paddle brush you used for the translucent powder from Mac? or is it the Maxinnes Mop 1"?

  • hey emiller - yes its Maxinnes Mop 1".

  • that looks beautiful!!

  • EnKore, does your cream color base crease on you? mine does :(

  • hey greybear - Oh yes it sure does! and I have oily lids so that doesnt help much. I personally prefer UDPP or paintpot. It doesnt crease as much on me.

  • Lovely!!!

    wonderful tutoreal as always!

    =D

  • wow!

  • super nice eye makeup

  • I LOVE IT!!!

  • oooh very nice!

  • awesome!!!

  • beautiful!

  • ok that looks so so so freakin' cool. if u go to my channel or watch my videos you're going to see i'm like a little kid everyone says that. but anyways i'm into this stuff and wow you're really good at this for a guy i mean really good everything even though you're going a little fast it looks amazing u rock

  • I like the fact that you use colours that many people have at home. not like ''this look needs ocean purple gold eyeshadow'' , lol :) thanks alot!

  • thank you, i love this look:)

  • Love it!

  • WOW, Julia (my sister) and I really, really enjoyed this tutorial. It really looks wondeful and it didn't make any mess. I hope they still have these solar bits in the stores tomorrow (The Neo-Sci-Fi collection opened yesterday in the UK) and I am amusing the solar fields is part of the same collection. I just have to get these even if they are messy...

Thanks so much Koren, both for the tutorial and the review.

  • I love this look. It looks fabulous on you Koren!

  • very sexy sultry look.

  • WOW! new to youtube and I love all the wonderful tips and eye-make-up you share with us. Thank you!

  • you never fail to surprise me!

  • Beautiful. It looks so neat. The product is still a bit messy for my taste, but some may love it!

  • Love the look...

    Thanks Koren Love yah...

  • I loove this look, it's simple and so seductive, well done ! :]

  • Great look! I'm still not going to buy the Solar Bits because it still was messy even after the prep....it was all over your fingers :). Still a gorgeous look Koren!

  • What are Solar Bits? Never heard of them in England....

  • hey :) they havent been released in the UK yet <3

  • it's a new collection by MAC

  • Loved it!

  • that is such a gorgeous look!! well done again :)

  • great job

  • Well that was rude! His sexual preference is none of your business .

  • Shut up and just go to a other channel..

and first you need to apologize to Koren!!!!!

  • playsomemusic, what a pointless thing to say... according to your profile you're just a kid, that makes me sad.

    We love you Koren!

  • Great look, Koren...Thank you ¡¡¡¡

  • even though you were not really sold on the product like me especially since it does fly all over the place, I must say that you did an amazing job with it...it's dramatic, its glamourous, and it gives a nice shimmery-dewy look to your eye...great job Koren!

  • This is SOOO BEAUTIFUL, you truly are the greatest!

  • it's fantastic!!welldone, you are the best!-)

  • I love love love your vids! They are full of helpful advices, you look so friendly - YOU'RE FANTASTIC!! This look is great: thanks a lot for sharing it with us! :D

  • you are assume!

  • .... wow... u work doing this right?

  • oh it looks really kool

  • Thanks for the fab demo!! I wish SOlar Bits will launch here soon.. I am so getting Black Ore. It doesn't seem like there is much cast off on your face when you are using the product, so it really that bad? But I suppose with all dark shadows, we just need to be careful and brush off the cast offs...

  • yeah I was being careful and really pressing the colors in, just being patient and putting a little effort. If youre in a rush doing this look, yeah it can be messy with all the fall offs. I also did the Crushing method, as the Swish method creates more fall offs.

  • question question when you take off the powder is it after you do your face makeup or before and can i apply powder with my face makeup on or is it a bad idea

  • before you do your face - with solar bits, its best to do the eye look first, then clean off as much of the fall outs, then do your face makeup.

  • Hey Koren, do you know if there's a good dupe of the MAC 211 brush? I basically need it now, but it's not available on their website anymore. Doesn't matter what brand, as long as I can get it in Canada! Thanks so much, your videos are amazing! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

  • hey lindsey - 211 is a kind of popular artists brush. Just go to a hobby/art store in your area and look for synthetic watercolor brushes - youll find one similar to a 211.

  • This is beautiful! I regret not being able to buy this! I don't mind having fallout at all, especially with a product as beautiful as this.

  • Gorgeous!!!!

  • this is really nice

  • Love it!! you did such a good job.. amazing

  • love it!! i was just using as a highlight color but wow!! now did you crush the bits or swirl over them? thanks

    hugs sweetie!

  • I crushed, less fall outs LOL

  • ooh i love this look! Thanks!

  • I love Black ore! PS-- I like how you showed your eye liner application most TUTS don't. I learned something!!!! Thanks

  • this is very very pretty koren!!

  • loves it!!!

  • OMG I wish I could get that Black Ore color! Its AWESOME!

  • great video - probably wont get the solar bits-way too messy - especially for a contact lense wearer!!

Can you tell me if there is a difference between the mac long handle brushes and the brushes that come with the holiday collections (SE) - is there a difference in the quality??

    Thank you.

  • i dont have them persoanlly but i hear a lot that the holidays are usually stiffer bristles, hurt peoples faces and they wished they had just invested in the regular sized. but thats just what i hear lol

  • Thank you - i was going wait til the colour forms collection to get a 219 brush but i think i'll just invest in the long handle 219 instead!

  • yes like escourt mentioned, you will notice the bristles are a little stiffer. The holiday sets are machine made, as oppose to the full size ones that are hand made.

  • Thank you.

  • omg.. if the master has fall out I would have been one big black sparkle.. everywhere but my eyes that is.

  • hahaha oh notmyself...

  • I thought the same thing!!!

  • Wow, It looks real nice!

  • Is there a reason to why you line your eyes inward instead of outward?

  • no reason really, its just what Im used to, and I find it better inwards as I like lining thinker on the outer corner and then tapers thin towards the inner. So to achieve that easier, inward lining is best.

  • I meant Thicker, not Thinker LOL

  • very festive... great for summer nights out

  • wow that is definetly party makeup i liked it

  • they are pressable pinksealight so he can press them when he gets tired of the mess

  • just curious, and id love to have a reply from you but

why did you buy them if you didnt really like the concept of the aplication?

i just dont get it xxx

  • hey pink - no, I bought them because I was intruiged by the new formulation and the concept of application. The only thing Im not sold at is the MESS factor.

  • I am not liking these pigments at all...great job though, thanks!

  • wow I know the issue of tons of fallout, but this look is too pretty! What a divine sparkly look that is. Well done on making it look easy, sure we would all make a terible mess...!

  • i love it koren i have to be honest i wasnt really interested in the solar bits before but after this ive definitely changed my mind..thanku so much...

  • omg i love those colors, i think i want them!! like now lol

  • hey there EnKore!

You may not read this comment but I wanted you to know that I love your work and that I mention you in my very little and short rap in my video 'To My Subcriptions!'

    Thanks for being AWESOME!

    =]

  • awe, thanks Chaos!

  • love it and thanks for the baby powder tip!

  • Gorgeous! Thank you Koren! xx =D

  • Awesome look and VERY pretty! I saw in your last vid and a few other ppl said that there is A LOT of fall out with the solar bits.

Does this continue throughout the day or does the base hold the product well after application???

    Thanks so much!!! :)

  • the base is definitely a must - as it holds the bits in your lids the glitters will constantly fall off and you might keep wiping them off your cheeks.

  • whatta great look!!! love it.

  • WOW Koren, what a pretty look! It's very beautiful & something I'll definately try to recreate....may be not as good as yours though!

    Take care.

    Hugs from London ☻

  • Love the look! But solar bits is too messy for my taste, so I'll dupe this look with regular shadows or pigments. Which Ardell lashes are these? I love them! Can I find out the number for them? Thanks!

  • hey carol - they are Ardell #33.

  • Hi Koren. I just ordered these yesterday, but I am a little unsure now. The looks is absolutely beautiful, but it looks like quite a bit of fall out. Do you think the solar bits are realistic at all for everyday wear? Thanks.

  • well, the darker colors are definitely a bit on the dramatic side, so I dont think they are ideal for everyday wear. The light ones can be great cheek highlighters and browbone, and those might be good for that purpose.

  • GREAT LOOK...perfect tutorial as usual:)

  • i wanted to buy some of these but then i was like nah. now i want them again. they are so pretty and you did an awesome job

  • wow, beautiful...thank u so much 4 this tutorial ^_~

  • Enkore, I love your videos. I wish you had a website like Pursebuzz!

  • ITA

  • this is such a great look. I think I'm too much of a speed daemon and a klutz for the solar bits though.

  • that was pretty

  • Great, as usual :)

  • very cute!

  • seriously, how do you figure out that your ring finger uses the least pressure? lol you're a genius when it comes to makeup=)

  • Yes TexasBabey, Koren is the GURU for sure! We all luv him too ☻

I'm hooked to his tutorials & have learnt more than I'd ever have learnt if I went to Beauty College *LoL*

    So mate keep watching....☻

    Ciao

  • i know right! i went him to come over and do my makeup everyday=)

  • lovin it!!<3

  • Hey Koren! Beautiful look. I'm wondering: what's the difference between a paint pot and a cream color base? I haven't used the ccb but I keep watching tuts using it.

  • hey skev - well cream color base is multi use - you can use on cheeks and some on lips. Paintpots are only designed for the eye area. Paintpots have a non-creasing formulation, while CCB creases, more so if you have oily skin.

  • Thanks, Koren. I must say that I've tried fresco rose paint pot on my lips and it dried them out (so def. not meant for lips, as you say) I was thinking about trying Perky paint pot (or is it Girl Friendly? I just got a sample) as a nude blush: I'll let you know if this is also a bad idea lol!

  • Oohhh my mom just bought the solar bits :) I'm soo going to try this ^_^
