It is like a wave in the ocean, The water falls below the natural water line and is force above to the same degree.
It rises and falls and energy becomes motion.
This motion between the positive and negitive is the energy that moves us forward.

I agree, we must experience the less than helpful and the helpful events in life in order to exist. However, I must ask is existence enough?
You are correct, we must view those less than helpful situations as catalysts propelling us to greater heights.

If we do not allow life to take its course and mold ourselves to its unique shape, then we are left behind. Are we really?

Left behind... I think so. Because if not then we spend our time in the realm of regrets killing ourselves because of the less helpful events... yet if we viewed them differently, maybe our lives would be able to take a different course

We Get so caught up sometimes, myself included in accomplishing things and doing things and making plans that we forget to live.
