@monsta147258 Thanks kindly. I have, indeed, considered both but decided a while ago that I just want to play music because I enjoy it. If anything comes of... excellent. If not, that's fine. I truly love doing it. I want to play music as an end, not a means to an end. American Idol mistreats music in that way... it makes it a means. It turns it into a spectacle of prizes and ratings. It's just not my thing.

Yes shes mildly attractive but this cover does the song no justice.

The guitar playing is meager at best. The singing is nothing special, she really doesn't open up and let it out.

@kurtlives91 on the contrary, i think she demonstrates tremendous vocal control. the timbre of her voice is one that doesn't need to be "opened up and let out" in order to see its merit. a lot of folk singers rely on control to show virtuosity - not necessarily tonal volume, as you seem to suggest with your ridiculous "open up and let it out" statement. as for the guitar playing, what are you looking for out of an acoustic folk song? oh, and nice ad hominem to really bring your argument home.
